[ Folding ] We only need 13,000ppd more to start catching ABXzone

It's a relatively new feature I believe, the last time I checked it could only handle one cpu. Certainly a good trick, waiting for them to get gpu accelerated graphics working now. Brilliant software.

Yep, I'm JonJ. Back after a very, very long break. Trying to get the big work units to behave themselves at present, I'll find out in a couple of days if the current one's worked.
 
Has anyone else noticed that folding causes their nvidia gpus to squeal. I also find that when I overclock the shaders it makes it much louder and higher pitch :eek: Maybe I could play a tune with them :p
 
Can't say I've noticed, but then again it's hard to hear anything over the sound of the fans! lol
 
Rich hasn't been active for a while, and the news was patchy for the last couple of weeks when he was :(

Ah I reckon when our average PPD stabilises with the people back from the gauntlet it will be under a year!
 
We just need biffa and his monster + whatever the hell he was using to churning 21K RAC during the gauntlet :D
 
Not sure, I know Biffa's main rig (Q9650 + Tri GTX 260) is probably good 27K PPD or there abouts.

Just started to run a second SMP now as i borked the first one :D and it's running better than when i ran it earlier in the week getting about 5k PPD @3.2Ghz while i sleep better than nothing :)
