[ Folding ] We only need 13,000ppd more to start catching ABXzone

Oh My Gosh - Just slapped the 260 in the workstation, with a quick rough and ready tune up.

It's one of the silly EVGA cards that out performs the 280 at stock!
Anyway - knock the core back to 550 (625 stock) and upped the shadder to 1500 :D

Currently getting 8714ppd on a WU5767(353pts) or 34sec a step
not bad for a free upgrade (sold 8800gs + 9800gt = GTX260 216 +£5)

What's yours clocked to happy?
Sorry - I'm a bit excited - never owned anything this powerfull before

Mine run at 500\1460\900

and on that same type WU i get

Min. Time / Frame : 38s - 8026.11 ppd
Avg. Time / Frame : 38s - 8026.11 ppd

But i do have mismatched shader card's so one is borked by the other :(

Meh im lazy and can't have my machine off otherwise the world will end :D
Plus i did buy the EVGA one from the bay description was for a 192 shader model but turns out to be a 216 ill just wait till new nvidia cards are out than worry about what i have now :)

I run mine at 650/1512/2000 for F@H now. I get the same 8714PPD when on a 353, they're pretty nippy :p Anyway you got Greebo's GTX 260 which clocked to insane levels, even on the standard cooler

Wish i had a floppy port on my mobo so i could flash the bios's on my GTX's already made the bios up for them both :(

not that im worried anyway as i can push 18k even with the rubbish windows client and mismatched cards

Why not just use Evga Precision? I just slide the shaders down to 1400 for gaming then back to 1512 for folding with the fan on auto :)

Edit:- Anyone with GTX 260s what driver's are you using? I'm using 186.18, anyone using the 190.xx and newer will have CUDA 2.3 enhancements which should add more PPD as well, but Vertica and myself have had issues with the clockspeed dropping to 2D speeds whilst folding.
