Also, when Fabregas went through in the 96th minute and got given offside, I've got it here in front of me now... He wasn't. They didn't show any replays of that during the game as it was right at the end. But he is absolutely level.

Irrelevant anyway.

Really?

Im being deadly serious. I think our midfield don't have the legs to get over the finish line. Obviously I hope we do win it but, Carrick and Evra are way off form, Scholes is simply past it. The only way we will win it is if there is a massive improvement from now till the end of the season. He must play Anderson and Carrick along with Rooney & Tevez

Fletcher could easily have one or two of those game where he controls everything (ok its stretching it a bit to believe he can do one, let alone two in the time remaining but you never know lol), and it sounds like Carrick is a doubt for the Pompey match

We certainly need a massive improvement for the remaining 9/10 games

Great game last night, and apparently all 6 goals were legit which is massively good for Arsenal, would have been nice to see a 1st choice Arsenal defence though. Liverpool were much better on the whole but Arsenal showed they're lethal in attack even without their top 2 scorers. Great game, loved how neither team wanted to defend, perfect :D

Can't believe Arshavin cost half what Berbatov cost :D

What a great game, some absolutely shocking defending from both sides made it.
Torres gets better every time I see him, not sure how long Liverpool can hold on to him though as he's bound to want to win something soon;)

I suppose the only consolation is that Arsenal's defence isn't usually what it was last night (it's never usually water tight, but a hell of a lot better than last night), but that was almost Liverpool's best!

Oh and Torres looked amazing last night, terrific player.

Whats more worrying is that liverpool's first choice defence played equally as bad as Le Arse' 4th(?) choice defence :(

I love watching him play but far too often this season I think defenders have had him in their pockets. He's had far too many quiet games this season.

Hopefully next season he will stay a lot fitter and injury free, because he's a joy to watch then.

I missed the game last night, because I err... went to bed. But yeah, finally Arshavin shines! :D

I've been getting stick off my mate who supports Liverpool recently and I phoned him to watch this, but the git was in Wales.

What's that? Arsenal are dirty? Hehehehehehe.

Awesome game last night...what an absolute gem that Arshavin is becoming...4 goals:o:p. Fustrating that Arshavin cant play in the CL because i think he would give us some good options.

Shameful defending by Arsenal, we should have had those 3 pts bagged but seeing as most of our first team defence are injured i guess shouldnt complain.

Feel sorry for Liverpool, i dont think they are going to win the Prem...Man Utd definitely have the advantage. Man Utd owe us a favour now i think:p...seeing as we just ruined Liverpools season:p. Personally i dont want either of them to win the Prem league but its got to the point where i just dont care anymore but my moneys definitely on Man Utd to win it this.

Just wish Arsenal had a better season this yr, definitely shows that our injuries this season ruined it for us.

Re CB - i rate agger as our best CB, Skrtel is really, really good.. but he doesnt offer what agger does as an overall player.
Carra's past it, Skrtel cannot fill that second place .. neither him or Agger are a leader on the pitch

Carragher is easily your best CB, it's not even close. He's one of the best defenders in the league. As much as it pains me, I'd take him at United in a shot.

Ahead of Scholes' 600th Man Utd appearance tonight some quotes regarding him:

ZINEDINE ZIDANE: “My toughest opponent? Scholes of Manchester. He is the complete midfielder. Scholes is undoubtedly the greatest of his generation.”

EDGAR DAVIDS: “I’m not the best, Paul Scholes is. We can all learn from Paul Scholes.”

MARCELLO LIPPI: “Paul Scholes would have been one of my first choices for putting together a great team — that is how highly I have always rated him.

“An all-round midfielder with quality and character in abundance.”

LAURENT BLANC: “I tell anyone who asks me — Scholes is the best English player.”

THIERRY HENRY: “Without any doubt the best player in the Premiership has to be Paul Scholes.

“He knows how to do everything, and he is the one who directs the way his team plays. On top of all that, he has indestructible mental strength, and he is a genuine competitor.”

PETER SCHMEICHEL: “His reading of the game is unsurpassed. He has the best eye for a pass, for what the play or the game needs at that precise moment, that I have never seen anyone else have.

“He controls and distributes the play and the game better than anyone I have ever seen.”

I hope Utd **** it up tonight, but why are people so hooked on the fact Utd will win the league now? They are more than capable of winning granted, but they are also capable of losing points just like we did last night.
