As people have stated it's more than 1%, that <1% was what was bought direct from Russia, it doesn't include the Russian gas resold to us by EU countries who have bought it from Russia (politics eh) or the LNG tanker shipments we get from Russia. To put in perspective how bad it would be if Russia ceased trading gas with us, last winter they had to divert additional gas supplies to us to prevent us from running out, I'm sure you can imagine how bad the consequences of the UK running out of gas in winter are.
