Indeed. Has Corbyn literally just stepped out of the 70s? The days of the communist USSR and his socialist brothers are long gone.

That wasn't the question. Point to something in particular from his statements.

For example, I noted the jeering when he asked something that's in the public interest: "what was your response to the Russian request for samples?". That was insane. Asking a perfectly straightforward question that at least some of the public (including historians who will want to know, for posterity) is interested in, and he gets jeered for it? The blood lust is strong.

Ah I never really expected anything different of him regarding stance on Russia, etc.

It's his lack of statements that are the issue.

When an attack, arguably an act of war, is taken against our country, all parties need to stand together in a show of strength and echo the same message. Not use the opportunity to make digs at the other party, criticize their spending policy and show the sort of divisions which Russia has been exploiting to divide people and parties in the Western world.

It also plays into the Russians hands of delay, smoke and mirrors. Simply put, it shows him as either naive or lacking any backbone. People need confidence that any attack against the country will be met with a leader who can make the hard calls if needs be. Today he showed he is not that leader. Idealism has no place when realism is needed.

Like WMD and Iraq. Doesn't matter if it's a lie, let's all lie together.

Credit where credit is due - the strong character on display was Corbyn, who, despite being set up to take the same position as May; with that obvious smear that took place a few weeks ago of him being a Russian agent; refused to do so. May showed her utter weakness against pressure from MI5 and the media and demonstrated she's no leader but their puppet on a string.

He was also very balanced, and did not say Russia didn't do it or anything like that, only that there is no real proof of it.

True. Even May said that there are is no evidence, but she continues the rhetoric, which worries me for no other reason as they know their target audience will follow them with blind religious belief.......
I am sorry for you, but that this clearly reminds me the German population during the later part of the 1930s. And the severe lack of history knowledge in this country (even your own) gives them that power.

Have you really just compared the UK today with 1930s Germany? And you accuse others of a severe lack 0f history...
 
What's the latest on the victims, are they going to pull through, hope they are not brain damaged, can't find anything on the news etc.

Right or wrong, the correct response to the world is one of unanimity, which most people in his party can see, and why he has taken such a backlash for it, from his MPs and his voters.

They will most likely be left severely disabled for the rest of their lives, if they even make it out of the initial danger.

These agents have horrific effects on the brain and nervous system.
