Games you're playing, and games...

Deathloop.....almost at the point of being able to have go at the final loop fingers crossed.

I loved Dishonored and Dishonored 2, but I must admit I didn't get this at all when it came out and put it down fairly quickly. Started again a month ago and I'm loving it now.

Halo Infinite. Full disclosure, I hate Halo, I find the whole premise boring and only played 3/4 of the original and that was it. MC is a soulless (perhaps by design) character and a bland mascot.

That said, quite enjoy the open world setting, if I didn't know it opened up I'd have given up at the start as it has the usual boring corridor sections. I like the hook shot mechanic and most the weapons are satisfying, bar the alien ones but I've never liked alien weapons or the setting. Particularly like the BR weapon. Enemies seem to fire at you from 3 planets away and the grenade switching method I don't like.

It looks ok, clearly a current gen game but nothing spectacular. I am bad at it and die a lot on normal but I'll probably finish it one day, I can dip in and out of it as they've gone the Ubisoft route. Won't touch MP.

Joined up to PS+ today so going to do Days Gone now before Horizon II comes out. Also interested to check out Persona 5 and see what the fuss is.

Don’t know what to do with Days Gone. It’s not really gripping me at all. Might shelve it until I’ve played Horizon II and start Batman Arkham Knight.

Started Uncharted 4 on PS5 - Always forget what a fantastic game this is, it's always been a gorgeous looking game, even nicer with the PS5 update

Started a second playthrough of Nioh 2, I had forgotten how good it is. The free ps5 update is nice (I wish the nioh 1 update was free). I'm using kusa with ninjitsu skills.

Stick with days gone. It is a slow burner.

I loved persona 5. Played through it twice. It’s a long game though. Think I put 100 hours into one of my play through a :P

Finished Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy. Both fab again and even better with the upgrade. Coming to the end of God of War then I think I’ll try Control again before Horizon 2 drops next week. Also playing through the Forsaken DLC of Destiny 2 before they vault it. Never got a chance to give it a play.

Yeah I’m glad I gave it a couple more hours. The mechanics are starting to click and the story becoming intriguing now. It was real spooky when I saw my first random horde just ambling back to their cave at sunrise.

That’s great to hear. It’s so worth sticking with. It’s one of the only games I’ve bothered completing lately. (I often lose interest) and honestly was gutted when it ended.

Either Horizon Forbidden West (As I managed to grab a PS5 bundle with it), or AC Valhalla which I still haven't played. Also looking forward to Elex II in a few weeks.

Actually gave Gran Turismo Sport another crack - always hated it, as the handling felt sub par to that of Forza; but pressed on, and have actually enjoyed my time with it - still looks pretty good for an older title too.

I’ve been playing it recently as well. It is decent. Some of the lower species cars handle badly but then they’re supposed to. Jump in a high spec car and it is a beautiful thing. The Ferrari 458 Italia is a favourite of mine in this game. Yeah looks nice too can’t imagine what GT7 is going to look like!

Yeah, the lower spec things are horrid - much prefer the GT3 and 4 cars tbh, something with a lot of downforce and racing tyres :D
