Games you're playing, and games...

Up to chapter 13 now on Guardians of the Galaxy on Xbox, hopefully have that finished soon as on my up next is Horizon Forbidden West on my new ps5, got quite a backlog of games I want to play now!

I have been playing this over the weekend and i am at about the same point
Just gone to get Fin Fang Foom
and its a great game. Its free on PS5 on Plus and i believe same on Gamepass. I thought i would hate it without the Marvel Movies character likeness but after about 10 mins of play the story was so good i completely forgot about it. The story is great, the characters and dialogue is great, the combat can be a bit repetative but on the whole its a very good game and looks/runs fantastic.

Hehe, I started playing the game before watching the movie. I like the game’s version of Star Lord better than Chris Pratt in the movie.

Do you think it would be better to play the game first before watching the anime? Or does it not matter?
It is better, as there are locations, weapons/cybernetics manufacturers and a couple of characters included from the game, that when you see them will be like ah that’s cool ! Stuff like the world map and stuff too.

But totally not necessary.

Not sure I'm going to install cyberbunk again just to play a few extra missions but I will likely play the expansion.

Been playing through the backlog of games that are on PS plus since getting my PS5 and is it just me or is Metro:Exodus a case of what could have been? A graphical marvel no doubt, but the lack of audio(it feels as though half of the audio track is completely missing) and the clunky controls have put me off entirely I think. I've tried three times to sit down and get really involved but always find myself frustrated and switch it off.

It's a shame because the environment and atmosphere are right up my street just the execution seems way off. Probably finding this very clunky as I recently finished Days Gone (was pleasantly surprised with this one) and then jumped straight into this - keen to hear everyone else's thoughts as looking online I maybe in the minority with my viewpoint on the game.

All the Metro games have janky aiming/shooting. Think maybe they did that deliberately because a lot of the weapons are cobbled together. Looks amazing though Exodus but I couldn’t finish it.

I haven't got far on exodus but my friend said he got to some desert level and it was awful and that's where he quit.

No I'm being a bit of a douche. It's unfortunate how the western world has completely butchered Anime. It should be called something else

What is the difference? I've not seen it referred to as anything else and I saw a review of it on some channel that reviews other anime. I googled the people who made it, and they are based in Japan, so it's an animated series made by a Japanese animation studio but according to you it isn't anime

Well you’ve clearly never watched it. It isn’t western in any way. I’m going through them now and it’s really well done. Think I’ll do another play through after this.

I picked up Stranger in Paradise Final Fantasy Origins in the recent sale on psn. Its extremely addictive so much so that I splashed out £20 for the season pass (3 dlc's). The build variety is great I can see myself putting a few hundred hours into this.
