Yeah, I felt the same about it too. Found many aspects of the game annoying, especially the level design / constant backtacking through labyrinthine areas.
 
Been focusing on FFVIIR lately and restarted Elden Ring on PS5 after playing it on PC.

Got instantly sucked into ER with a different build but I still can't fathom how From can make such gameworlds and be so hopeless at coding. I'm frankly surprised the world even works on this abomination of an engine.

Nothing helps on PS5, VRR does jack **** and riding Torrent results in constant judder between areas and entire fields of grass popping in front of you.

I'm forced to play the PS4 version through BC and feel bad about it since PS5 should have zero problems running this at 60fps.

It's a wild shot but I'll try reinstalling as the performance just feels abnormal when riding through the world. I'm fine with some drops here and there but this is something different.

Fallen Order got a lot of praise but I was bored from start to finish. I adored Returnal but yes not for everyone.

I enjoyed the story and it had some iconic moments and settings, especially nearer the end, but there was far too much filler, backtracking and often little in between with a fair bit of frustration thrown in too. If they’ve improved all of these aspects for the sequel then it could be an excellent game.
 
should have picked up Mass Effect Legendary edition sooner.

Yes the game is showing its age for combat but man I grew up with Bioware story telling in gaming.

They were the Kings until they fizzled out or lost their talent.
 
I tried Warzone 2, jesus Christ it took forever to sign my life away signing up for an Activision account, finally get in and because I only want to play against console players I have to wait ages to find a game (wtf I thought this popular) finally get in a game and the graphics are pants, the gunplay is pants and I was playing with one other guy against AI

Cross play games are terrible.
 
Nearing the half way point of the last of us remaster - it's absolutely amazing. Dual Sense adds so much to the shooting mechanics I think as well.
 
Almost finished The Callisto Protocol, think i am on the last boss. Its not bad but not amazing. The setting and story is pretty good but i REALLY get an unfinished feeling about most of the game. some areas have nothing in them, I am pretty sure there are areas i couldnt get to, i am pretty thorough with these types of games but i ended up not being able to get the final upgrades on any of the weapons. The gore was pretty heavy duty in places but not as bad as i was expecting.
 
Just finished GoT main island, and now part way through Iki island. Such a damn good game. Seriously, anyone who hasn’t played it, do so!
