Games you're playing, and games...

That's slated to be a part of Assassin Creed Online.

I don't think it is, AC online is the mobile part of which codename Jade + Mirage is a part of it. AC Infinity is the portal if you will on which CNR (a confirmed AAA title) will be part of. They have done no favours with all this lol but I think the takeaway is that REd is very much a AAA full fledged AC game regardless of delivery method,

Well I for one will be happy to see a Japanese AC game. So, yay!

After the Diablo 4 beta, I figured I’d give D2 Resurrected a go. Meh. Didn’t enjoy it. Paid full price and only a few days later it’s in the sale for a fraction. So I’m pretty annoyed! Lol.

So I copied over Diablo 3 ultimate evil from my external drive and thought I’d play that for a bit. I’d finished the main game and expansions back in 2017 and not touched it since. I selected “continue” to find myself right at the start again but in a kind of NG+ arrangement, which is pretty cool. Having to relearn what to do and how everything works but I’m enjoying it. The voice acting and script is pretty terrible though!

The graphics are dated too, but all in all it’s a much better experience for me than D2.

For those of you who watch VLDL vids on Facebook, I definitely have loot lust!! :p

D2 certainly isn’t easy on the eyes is it but I am enjoying it for what it is and at £11 I think I did ok lol. Was difficult to adjust to the resolution but it’s cool now once you get into it. I think I might grab it on the Switch I feel like it might be a better experience there.

Rub it in why don’t ya!! I paid a penny shy of £35! :p

I’ll chalk it up to bad timing :D

I was playing d3 to carry on as a necromancer after the d4 beta and really enjoying it.

Then yesterday I randomly bought Dredge on ps5. I've been addicted to it since. It has a really nice game loop with a slow paced horror story, multiple upgrades, varying fishing types and mini games. It's a tricky game to describe but is very unique and enjoyable. Pro tip don't bother with the £2 dlc - by the time I'd worked out how to access it my upgrades had surpassed it.

I have quite a few Diablo clones in my library that I really should play.

I’m gonna bash through D3 and then look at Path of Exile, Victor Vran and Van Hellsing.

I’m also playing BF2042 as well. Slowly getting better at sniping. The TTK when I’m spotted seems silly fast for a BF game, though. Very CoD like.

I’ve got Dead Space and Sekiro which I’m dipping in and out of, as well as Prodeus.

So much stuff to play and very little time!

Having some fun with FH5 Rally Adventures DLC and dipping in and out of Octopath Traveler 2 and D2R ( with my Hammerdin in Hell ). I plan to hopefully finish Octopath in time for the slew of titles coming from the start of May onwards ie. Redfall, Diablo 4, FF 16 etc

Started playing F1 22 on gamepass and I can't believe how much they ***** up the handling difficulty.

Tried to enjoy it for hours but it's just horrible. The cars feel like they are on ice and there is no feel through the controller as to when you will lose grip.

Just went back to F1 21 and it's just so, so much better.

I really want to give Bloodborne another go, played it many times in recent years and just rage dropped it, never got passed the first group - installed it again today, and after playing Hogwarts Legacy, DS remake and the new Resident Evil 4 remake the 30 fps in Bloodborne is so noticeable and horrific, I don't think I can play 30 fps games again, really hope we get a a 60 fps upgrade for this :(

Bloodborne is easily on my list of the best games ever made but I can't blame you, I can't play it anymore either. It begs for a remake or at least a 60fps patch.

Would be great, it's an experience that everyone should go through and a game that could school modern "cinematic" Sony titles how to do level design, and on some other things as well.

Finished The Quarry last week. 6/10.

Not a bad game, but it doesn't come close to Until Dawn, which I didn't finish. The characters are generic college kids, and some of them aren't fleshed out as well as they should be. Panning around on the PS5 also seems to introduce nasty motion blur, which hides a somewhat low frame rate at times. As usual the QTE's can be dumbed down (Until Dawn was very unforgiving) but the final moments of this game as reviews will no doubt mention, fall completely flat. I had to replay the ending a few times as I had 2 deaths that felt very cheap due to the way the way the final moments are presented.

Yeah agree with this, the ending was poor, it seemed really rushed at the end.

I'm still going through hogwarts legacy. I finally collected enough moon statues to unlock the 3rd unlock spell.

I managed to order a copy of Gotham Knights on xbox for just £13 on vinted so I will give that a play through once Hogwarts is beaten.

After completing Elden Ring thought I'd give DS3 another go. Got to the twin princes when I first played it and could never get past them. Currently enjoying the poison swamp around Farron Keep, Abyss Watchers coming up soon. - can't wait...

Started Horizon Forbidden West the other week, bit of a slow start but I'm enjoying it now and it looks great. Also started Tchia the other night but I'm not really feeling it, was hoping for something like Rime but it's a lot more open-world and seems like a lot of your time is spent just getting from one place to another. May come back to it one day.

I finished God of War (2018) on the PS last week - mixed feelings on that game. Took many attempts to get through it, especially early on - though I got more engaged with it towards the end. I think the valkyrie queen (Sigrun?) is the only 'boss' I've still to beat, but I gave up on that in the end.. though after grinding to two challenge realms to upgrade my gear for that fight, it made the end of the story very easy. Think I'll wait a while before trying to Ragnarok

Getting back into Dead Cells now, had played it very causually over the last year or two, but not getting more serious about it now.. still not beat the Hand of the King yet, but getting closer!

I'll also be getting back into Vampire Survivors soon to play the new expansion level, though I suspect there is only a few hours in that.

Edit: spelling

I had the same sort of experience. I'm not sure I really enjoyed it all that much up until the final quarter of the game and once I'd completed it I kind of wanted more.
