Games you're playing, and games...

Mods, but why would anyone want to mess with intended mechanics when they're more lenient than in other From games and runes become a non-issue after a few hours is beyond me.

Losing runes here hurts even less than in their other games and you can run past so many enemies, not to mention the run-ups to bosses are almost non-existent.

Just play the game normally and then decide if you really need to make dying even less punishing.

Babes, some people like sugar & milk in their coffee and some like it plain black. If the game is purchased for PC then the options are there but they won't be compulsory.

The mods also allow for unlocked frames but I leave it at 60 because my hardware is quieter and cooler and I personally don't think the higher frames bring a big enough difference. Again, options you simply won't get on the console version of this game.

Mhm, if I had to genetically modify my coffee beans to add milk and sugar to my coffee then it probably wasn't the intended experience but whatever:p Tasted all right as intended so I didn't bother. Then again, I don't use mods to alter the devs' vision of a game, only fix problems with graphics or performance.

Also using the coffee analogy, I you prefer a particular dish you visit a specific restaurant, not cajole the chef into serving you something they don't just because you like the interior design:D

Finally cracked the Halo Infinite addiction, can’t even stand it for two minutes now so have moved back to Fall Guys and Vampire Survivors for the time being. Just got another PS5 so there’s plenty to catch up on there again.

Your second PS5 then? Have you noticed any difference between them in terms of noise? My launch day PS5 has always been on the noisier side.

Had a brief play at Redfall over breakfast. I’m intrigued by the opening area… will definitely be checking this out further later on.

Redfall, but Im not sure about it yet, looks and plays very average. Looks unfinished/rushed to release. Ai enemy so far is poor as well.

The reviews its getting seems to be fair, sadly.

Just done the first mission, nowt spectacular but still I thought it was enjoyable enough to make me want to carry on the story.

Bought Dead Island 2 over the weekend for Xbox (wanted a physical copy to trade in once complete and my PS5 is a Digital model). Really enjoying it so far at around the half way mark. Exactly what I was hoping for. Nothing amazing just a better looking and polished Dead Island. I do however keep forgetting that I chose Amy for the Speed and Crit chance and subsequently getting my ass handed to me when I run into a group of zombles...

Still playing Elden Ring. Well over 200hrs now which is the most time I've sunk into any game.

Looking forward to the DLC when it gets released; hopefully I'll have completed the game prior to DLC. :)

I’m going to restart and take my time, I was rushing a little due to work, need to check the video settings and controls see if I can fine tune them a little as controls felt a bit off.

I found changing the turn speed to slow got rid of the acceleration when turning which felt much better. I also turned off head bob and motion blur. I then set FOV to 110 (120 was too much).
