Gang of 12 'allegedly' rape British Citizen in Cyprus

The video became quite the scandal back in Israel when it was shared by friends over WhatsApp due to the language used by some of the lads.

We can identify the boys from it, the girl we can't as we don't know what she looks like.

To be honest we don't know if he is a spy or not. I suspect the US would play the long game with Russia as sometimes they end up trading spies with each other.

But this is getting away from the point I was making that for the ordinary British person, the consulate should be a lot more pro-active, especially in criminal matters. I'd also have them be more active generally as our consulate services seem to be the last to arrive in to any situation.
 
I've surfed the the old erotica sites for many years and I've never seen an amatuer 'gangbang' with 12 guys. That is excessive. Maybe she thought there was a couple.

I guess it would come down to if she consented to have sex with, for example, 4 of them, and another 8 joined in, do you consider that rape?

How would a person even consent with 12 people!?

I suspect something sexual happened and then other people joined in.

What I meant was, does the video show the whole event?

Reports say she had physical injury consistant with rape, which seems odd.

If there is a video showing the whole event that is one thing, but, how are we to know what happened off camera if not?

Something doesn't quite add up, there is nothing wrong with a woman sleeping with many men at the same time, but that shouldn't be used against her if there was stuff that went on against her will.
 
^^ tbf I was thinking about more than just the vigina too, I guess that area and the rest is hard to know without seeing the evidence report.

Of course it it would be.

It doesn't matter how many you consent to if more "join in" without that consent then it is rape, same as if she withdrew consent from any of them.

Sex without consent is rape.

I love your ability to get to the hearty of any issue. But let's start with consent, as a lot of men seem to think that it is complicated.

1) Consent can be withdrawn. At any time.
2) Consent for one act does not mean consent for any others. "Yes" does not mean anal, unless she specifically agrees.
3) Consent for sex with one person (or even more than one) does not mean consent for sex with anyone else. Even the best mate of someone consented to.

Now the rape myths. Vaginal tearing is an indicator, and not much more. Lack of it is not proof that it was not rape. Existence of it increases the likelihood. This is the real world, not CSI.
Rape victims do not necessarily fight back. A fair number are too terrorised, and others just want it over with. This even includes being filmed. If you are being gang raped, and the guy with the camera says: "look like you are enjoying it or we'll cut you", what do think IN THE REAL world, the woman will do? Or not do? I will remind the people that bang on about the video, there have been any number of cases where rapes have been filmed and put on the internet, and the fact it was a rape was not in doubt.

The idea that a woman agreed to have sex with twelve men that she didn't know is laughable beyond belief. Even if she was a porn professional, this would be a Big Thing. If you believe that she consented to twelve men having sex with here then your views on women might be a bit out of date. Like 1250 out of date.

I got some more info after browsing Greek news sites. There were never 12 guys. Some of the boys she accused were minors on holiday with their families and others were with their girlfriends at the time she claimed the incident happened. That's how her story fell apart so quickly. They also found DNA inside of her of three extra people unrelated to the Israelis. No DNA of the people she claimed she did not consent to was found. Her retraction of her accusation was very clear but after she realised that "oops I got angry and lied" got her into real trouble she started furiously backtracking.

I also read she solicited alchohol to minors in the group of the Israelis and tried to coerce at least one minor into sex which would be considered statutory rape but none of them wanted to press charges and wanted to just fly back with their families after they got the scare of their lives from her false accusation and arrest.

I have no idea if all of this is 100% true but at the very least we're talking about a first class **** and liar that has created this mess all because she got shamed with a video. And now she is pulling the typical victim and mental illness card. The consensus now is that the pressure from the british media is high because *poor young girl cant face the consequences of her actions" and her sentence will be reduced.

Seriously though, watching the video will show you the mindset of all involved. Compound the lies from the girl and it exposes their innocence.

Having seen the videos, which do the rounds on WhatsApp every time this reappears on the news, it is clear she is well up for it throughout the duration of the footage.

As long as they all stopped when she wanted, nobody has done anything wrong.

Personally, I believe she's lying and doing genuine rape victims no favours whatsoever. Hopefully she's punished in the strongest possible terms.
