I'm late to this story so I don't know what the truth is. I just can't imagine a girl being happy with that many people involved. I've never seen anything like that in amatuer porn in the 25+ years I've watched it (studied it for educational reasons, of course :D).

The only thing I'm looking at when this case gets mentioned is the complaint that after she made the statement, that she was left alone with the police for many hours without legal representation, then retracted her statement. It doesn't seem like the correct procedure was followed.

It sounds like Cyprus wanted to sweep this all under the rug as fast as possible because of the people involved and the sexual nature of it.

That's a pretty stunning conclusion to reach, particularly when you confess that you have no idea if any of what you have just said is actually true. I genuinely find that thought process to be bizarre.

I've probably already said but it's very clear that NZXT30 has had some personal experience with rape accusation and British girls on holiday.
 
I don't think you need to have personal experience of rape accusations on holiday to come to these conclusions, they're quite obvious when not blinded by faux outrage at a foreign countries sub-par institution.

You just need to be aware there's a proportion of unstable, attention seeking women with no morals or respect who lie rape for multiple selfish reasons.

Yes, after reading Mags reply to me I found this at the start of the thread. The validity of her claim was completely dismissed as a default position; that actually comes across as a bit sinister.

Literally the only true statement in this pile is that there were 3 unmatched DNA samples. Given that the Cypriot Police were so lacksidasial that they hadn't even properly removed evidence from the scene before allowing the hotel to reuse the room (used condoms were found in the bin), I'm not sure whether that means anything at all.

I find it quite sick how many people will cheerfully watch the videos going round. At best, if they are even of her, these were criminally recorded and released, at worst you're watching a girl getting gang raped.

I'd have to watch it. Did it show the whole event, or just part of it? Can viewers tell what else is going on besides the actual sex?

I don't think anyone is disputing that she was willingly having sex with one or a couple of people. But women generally feel threatened around a lot of guys, and 12 is a lot of people. It would be very unusual for her to be ok with that many people. From what I'm reading it was pre-planned by the alleged offenders with their messages.
 
From memory... There's one or more people chilling out on chairs in the background while she's mounted one guy and getting friendly with guys either side of her.
IIRC the guys standing either side were talking to the cameraman so I'd be surprised if she wasn't aware it was being recorded.

Having had the accusations made against them, they're probably relieved they did record it.
 
Yeah, a very suspect case from start to finish. People need to get out of the mindset that a woman needs to be kicking & screaming while the sex is taking place, fact is unless every single male who took part was given consent then it's rape - no iffs and butts. Her supposed confession (likely under duress) should put a big hole in the case as is.

From many comments on YouTube it's, 'i've seen the video and she'd DEFINATELY' lying'.

She's upset as they filmed it without telling her which is apparently a crime.

This maybe true.

But these days its very common on some websites that if a woman is wearing something revealing shes a ****, or even if shes being filmed with her husband or boyfriend shes a whore.

I'm sticking to the legal procedure. Shes been convicted of lying when her retraction or confession was taken after her being alone with a load of police men in a room from what I've heard. If that is true then the evidence shouldnt have been admissible in the court.

I remember making a post here a long time ago about a UK police officer being "sniffy" when I insisted I write my own statement, I had to press the point that I either wrote it myself or I was not assisting by voluntarily making a written statement, maybe the police in Cyprus are the same? Anyway, I am 100% with NZXT30 on this one, I firmly believe this woman was a willing participant in groups sex and when she realized she was being filmed and maybe ridiculed she got the `ump. Every holiday rep will know of women like these with low moral fibre, and a propensity for alcohol and risky immoral behavior, it seems the Israeli fellas were very unlucky to get involved with her. Nowadays a holiday sexual encounter needs the presence of witnesses for the signed statements of willing participation ;) For a rampant young man STD is the least of your worries in 2020!

The only video confirmed to be of her is the one way she protests at other people entering the room. There are also reports of a video where one of the boys is demanding she says "I'm your whore" in Hebrew. There's at least one other video which is being claimed as her which is actually a four year old porn video.

You make an instant and completely negative moral judgement on the young woman with very little evidence available to you, yet you are sympathetic to young men her own age who made the same decision you think she did i.e. participate in group sex with strangers.

For them to treat a young woman like that, whether she was willing or not, is utterly vile.

It's frightening to think that any member of the public could be selected as a jury member in this country!
