It's not actually downloading the entire game to update. It copies the existing files, which is why it requires double the original space. Yeah, it's retarded.

No, you won't lose your progress if you delete and reinstall.

I want to work through the campaign more first but I should be around for a few horde rounds, just not tonight.

had a nice 4 man horde session last night with Hazy from here and some of his chums.

think i ducked out around wave 30 ish due to the time.

one thing ive found is its harder than previous games.
 
I don't have a headset at the moment, but are people playing multiplayer with headsets? As it seems a bit quiet unlike how I remeber the Xbox.

i use a headset for everything.

MP isnt that competitive so not essential. horde mode is certainly one to use a headset for. coordinating the team, man down etc. all helps

I didn't use a headset last night , and didn't hear any other chatter but the surround sound on my system was good at letting me identify when a gear shouted man down

But have a headset should it be needed ;)

Can we get a thread update with everyones game tag? The maybe we can arrange a OCUK horde game.

For those who are interested in running horde or multiplayer in general. Off sick at the moment due to torn muscle in my arm so about anytime someone fancies a game.
 
Hey guys, I heard that campaign and horde work fine but actually getting a multiplayer game in anything other than TDM is impossible...

Is this the truth? As i only really play online and had the same issues with the gears 1 ultimate release.

1 odd thing about this game, it doesn't actually have a full screen mode, its either windowed or bordered window. Move your cursor to the top of the screen and a little border comes down even in full screen mode, which is apparently why you have to set shadowplay to record the desktop as it doesn't properly detect it.

Yeah got quite hard for first time on it really, didnt realise you left till we all died.

Need to look into classes more as I just grabbed first one I saw. Should be on at some point tonight again probably start earlier though as it was quite late by the time I called it a night at 30.

Hazy1337 if anyone wants to join. (Ill be on xbone as my download on PC died so 80gb queued up)

Pretty much the same as all UWP sadly.
 
Always make sure you have an engineer or two as they can repair structures which is cheaper than building new. I think they can have reduced cost too to buy stuff.

Designate 1 person to be engineer and buy and place items instead of a free for all.
