The polls say otherwise all UKIPs votes do is split the Tory votes, it can't happen, why do people think UKIPs will get more than about 4 MPs the SNP will be the king maker. And to think they were against AV just LOL

Not quite true. UKIP are targeting and expected to do well in North England in areas where Labour hold seats.

The biggest poll I've ever been asked to vote in, is the one here on OCUK and that backs up what I said.

Interesting views in here. Personally I thought both Sturgeon and Bennet came across by far and away the best tonight, I am however absolutely unconvinced by their model.

Unfortunately I am absolutely unconvinced by everything that has been put forward so far by all the parties. I would probably be closest to a lib dem approach if I hadn't seen how much they had failed to implement anything like what Clegg spoke about tonight in the last few years.

I'm afraid UKIP are just a complete joke for me. It's not even neccesarily the thought behind their policy, it's the way these are presented and the way they would be apparently implemented. Small elements of it could even work, if approached appropriately, instead they bang the constant immigration drum. Tiring

Personally I would have liked to hear more about Wales during the national debate, I'm not sure anyone was there representing Wales.

I don't think anyone stood out as doing particularly well. Natalie Bennet in particular was very disappointing. Even though I disagree with pretty much everything that is ever likely to come out of her mouth, I did at least expect her to have something interesting to say. She didn't.

Well i've just been taken stock and i have to say i was very happy with Farage's performance tonight, The only one to say it like it is and the "i told you they were all the same" in his closing speech was well timed and even got a reaction from the audience.

He just said 30% of immigrants are HIV and come here for treatment, wtf playing the aids card is low

Wasn't it 60%?

Just been repeated on ITN, he said "60% of people being diagnosed in the UK come from foreign countries". Not 30/60% of immigrants have HIV.

When you put that in context it is a pretty scary statistic. When immigrants make up a fraction of the population but are the majority of people being diagnosed with HIV it suggests there is a major problem with 'Health Tourism' in that specific area.

Whether you agree with the NHS being seen by people overseas as something to come over and use when they get such a horrible disease is one thing, but you can't deny the fact and it should be discussed.
