Massive amounts of hyperbole but quite amusing.

The rich should be sharing their fair share of the burden, rather than it being disproportionately weighted towards the poor. But money begets money and dare politicians attack their masters they'll get derided.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/...third-of-all-income-tax-despite-rate-cut.html

top 1% pay 30% of the total income tax bill for thw whole country.

how much more should their fair share be??

and a slightly older out of date one

the bottom 50% of earners pay only 11% of the tax bill.

So the top 50% paying 89% of all income tax isn't enough for you?

Without knowing how much of the total wealth/income those % strata have/take then just looking at their tax contribution is meaningless

So if the top 1% have 70% of the total income you would still think paying 30% of the tax revenue would be fair?

Scotland poll shows a nation on the verge of abandoning Labour:

http://gu.com/p/45fdf

Lord Ashcroft polled voters in Labour's 14 strongest majority seats and found an average 25% swing from them to the SNP. Based on polled data, all bar one of those seats would fall to the SNP. Additionally, of those polled, more would rather see David Cameron remain Prime Minister than see Ed Miliband take the reins.

Pretty damning. I can't say I'm surprised. It's a real shame there isn't a competing party in England too - it would be great to see Labour utterly crushed. Maybe then they'd get the message. Nobody likes Ed and Ed. They're doing a terrible job of leading the party, and they're only in with a shot because so many people don't want the Tories in. Just look at the Green surge - people are desperate for an alternative. So desperate that they'd consider voting for a bunch of looney hippies who's policies would doom the country.

59 racists and counting :p or maybe just sheep following the immigration hype nonsense

so everyone who votes UKIP is racist?

looking at what your beloved socialists did to this country by letting just about anyone in, I can't really blame people for feeling the way they do...

+1.

UKIP != BNP.

To be honest, callmeDave made a big mistake with the whole UKIP thing. He should have been saying "Ok, I understand that you have concerns. I'm gonna listen". But instead he was busy calling any UKIP supports 'closet racists', 'fruitcakes', and 'loons'. Insulting people is not exactly the best way to go winning them back...

The problem is that the ones that lean to the left fell for that hook line and sinker, and then they have nerve to call UKIP supports uneducated :D

This is why more and more people are turning to UKIP and voting for them . Can you honestly not see any cons from high net migration/immigration from both non-EU and EU countries?

its been over 240k since 2003 . An extra 240k people think about it for a second.

last year alone it was 260,000.

Ill put my neck out to say that's one of the major reasons the NHS isn't doing so well

Well it's the elephant in the room that no politician want to talk about, even NF didn't bother because he's fed up for being called a bigot for telling the truth.

The fact is every GP i walk into (a couple in London and Birgminham) 70%+ always seems to Asian women wearing hijabs and burkas each with 3-4 screaming kids. One minority seems to be talking up most of the resources in the country. Call me a bigot if you want but that's what i see with my own eyes

So, 4 then?

This is not an argument to dissuade someone from thinking that UKIP and its supporters are intolerant at best and racist at worst.
