Word of warning, with +0.3v my GeiL ULL PC6400 1GB sticks would not be stable, but +0.2v they work like a charm at 4-4-4-12.

hi

perhaps i should set mine then to +0.2v?

also on my ocz ram (offer one) would i not set it to 4-4-4-15 ?

cheers

Has anyone tried running memory in all 4 slots (not necessarily at the same time) above 820mhz?

I've just installed 4x1gb of Crucial Ballistix, but one of the slots (DDRII2/left-hand red one) refuses to budge over 820mhz

The other three slots will all let me boot all four sticks at 1000mhz.

I'm not even sure if that's grounds for RMA considering that the spec only goes as high as ddr2-800.

hi

when i change the voltages on the below i can only seem to see 0.10v in the selection it starts from +0.10v ,0.15v , +0.20v and up?

in the guide in the first page it says +0.1v would that be the +0.10v as above?

7. Set the MCH Voltage to +0.1v
8. Set the FSB Voltage to +0.1v

cheers :)

Hi im having problems getting my lan port working on my ds4
the connection does not show up in network connections, and only shows up in device manager when show hidden devices is ticked ( as marvel yukon 88e8053 pci-e gigabit ethernet controler-packet scheduler),but under the driver tab shows a microsoft driver? I have tried to update to the latest driver on the gigabyte website but this has no effect :(
Any ideas???????????????????????????????????????

just been checking my bios settings, and there is no option to enable/disable onboard lan (am using the f8 bios) im sure the was an option like this on the ealier versions. was just wondering which bios everyone else is using on there ds4's????? and if some one with an ealier version could tell me if that option is present??????

I've just got a DS3Prev3.3, I cant get my 6300 past 2.5ghz. I tried the settings in the original post.

Any ideas ?

Change the bios f9 was terrible for me couldnt hardly overclock on it
bios f10 seems ok check my above post have same board rev 3.3.

My case fans and cpu fan is not detected in the ds3 f10 bios any reason why?
i see the connectors on the board are 4 pin my fans are 3 pin.

I instaled water cooling the other day and have been trying to get my system stable at 3.4 . I am using the 9x multi at a bus speed of 378 , when running orthos with small FTT it does fine for 8 hours but fails quite quickly in blend. currently have a the vcore set just above 1.5 , vmch +0.15, fsb +0.15 and vdimm of +0.3. Ram is underclocked at 756. any ideas???? My spec is in sig.

can someone just point me in the correct direction please

Got my DS3 from COB (cheers mate!) and have bunged in 2 x 1gb of ballistix PC6400. Have followed the guide on the first page and a simple overclock to 2.7ghz was acheived. not had time to push further yet.

however, i was wondering how i run my ram 1:1 as it should be able to push a fair way with the set i have. When i set the System Memory Multiplier to "2x", is this the same as like running a divider on an AMD system???
