Can i ask the best test to fully test my card and what would i be looking for ?

Try OCCT GPU memtest and some other OCCT tests.
Furmark, Heaven, couple of games and MSI kombustor.
You should look for artefacting and loads of black flashes. You will notice it immediately
 
there is no phone number for their RMA support as far as I am aware

but their email support is just fine - each time I emailed them I had a response within 2-3 hrs - note their email address is just a "admin" line into the RMA team if that makes sense so doesn't provide tech support - but I asked for a RMA form, got it through within 2-3 hrs, filled it in - sent back, had an email a few hours later saying I'd forgotten to put on my address (oops), sent back, had RMA number and instructions within about another 2 hrs

so no issues so far
 
you're emails replies are not going in a spam box or something are they ?

you said you also didn't get anything from Gigabyte UK website when registered either ?

as I said I'm up to about 6 emails from Gigabyte RMA team and thats over about 2-3 days - so they're pretty prompt

Not a single one. Even checked the Status oin their website.
What email addrress did you use?
 
tech support won't be a quick reponse and is not what you are looking for

you want the returns/RMA email who don't provide any tech support but act as go between between yourself and their service team
 
any news on your RMA?

hopefully it arrived their today (haven't checked) - was sent RM Special Delivery - and I on top of their RMA form (which only has small area to explain fault) - provided an A4 piece of paper fully explaining the problem

I also made note of why I'd bought a 480 after selling my 570 - as I needed the extra VRAM for high resolution and lots of AA - just in case ...

I wish id bought an Evga card!
I hate waiting for tech support.
Rather ironically, XFX have had the best tech support ive experienced ever.
