**Gigabyte Super OC GTX 480's - VERY LOW PRICES!**

I have had pretty good dealings with Overclockers over the years. Had to RMA a 7800GT years ago that developed a fault, and that was replaced with a 7900GTO in good time. Recently all my orders been arriving very quickly and in good condition, so just waiting to see how the new card performs and hoping I don't have to pay for another special delivery parcel...

Their delivery company just fails

This comment debunks any proof of re-selling cards

I think what everyone is wondering, is if we've been receiving cards which have previously been returned for whatever reason.
As re-selling is being practiced elsewhere, eg. I bought a universal remote from Argos & the touch screen was covered in fingerprints, meaning it was not new & when I returned it the attendant replaced it without question.

Due to this cards higher than normal failure rate, then more cards will be returned & thus, consumers are naturally concerned about re-selling & receiving a card which is sub-par.

A shame theres no way to verify then, that this underhanded practice is going on.
As my experiences of OCUK have been less than encouraging to develop a trusting relationship, then Im airing on the side of caution & will always research a product outside of the OCUK website in search of trustworthy information.

Unless the box is obviously worn inside, finger prints on the hardware itself, etc. theres no easy way to tell if its been returned previously.

After getting the box back from RMA, there were 5-7 rips inside the box where the PCIe thingy goes. Me thinks a drunk person tried to put it in*. hehe :D
then again, THIS* may explain some of it :D

*Obviously I am joking

HAHA! Did they not just send a whole new box and card out? Or was your one a NFF?

Anyone want to phone Gigabyte?

well after weeks of research into building my new pc, i was a little nervous about buying this card after all the problems people have experienced

but ive gotta say, this card is phenomenal . although that could be because i haven't built a pc for years. my current/old pc is an athlon 2800xp with a fx5900 gfx card lol

i wanted something to play mmorpg's with, and my main concern was getting good performance in ffxiv

with over 5400 on high and 6480 on low with out of the box stock settings on cpu / gpu is way over what i expected

however, i do need some advice as a lot of reviews say it's quiet but mine sounds louder than my original xbox 360

i noticed you can adjust the fans using ocguru but is it safe to leave it at 30% rather than auto? i don't want it burning out

thanks for responses about temps

ive also noticed when i watched videos on youtube of this card, the power phase led's switch on and off

on mine they are all on, all the time?

is this normal or have i not installed something right?
