surely they will have to replace the card with same or superior seeing as the 570 has less vram?
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

I hope they give me a 580
I don't think that they even have 480's anymore?
maybe - maybe not - don't forget they'll have refurbs too
wouldn't worry - if you get a refurb 480 SOC - it'll probably be great
in general refurb items - be it gfx cards or any other product - probably get tested more thoroughly that brand new ones
Just bought mine a few a days ago. Unfortunately a few mins into any game artifacts appear, then the screen goes black with white dots flickering all over. Its fine until i try and play a game My PSU is a new Antec 750W.
is it RMA time, or is there anything i may be overlooking?

Maybe your PSU dIed?
Use OCCT to checm for errors and if you have thousands in the first few mins then RMA.
download msi after burner and use it do down clock the core and memory. than run occt and if you get no errors than i would have thought it would be pretty safe to assume your card is unstable/faulty
When I swap in my old GPU everything works fine so I don't think so. Ill try OCCT, cheers.
I'll ty this too after work... This won't affect my RMA if it is faulty will it?
Thanks a lot
I've just myself one of these cards - I'm a bit confused by the posts here - are these cards flawed or something? I've just download OCCT and ran the GPU error check, but I'm not sure I understand what I'm looking at. I ran the test for 3min 30 seconds or so and it aborted. I could see thousands of white sparklies during the test. Temps went up to 90 degrees. This was with the card set to auto.

Been trying to decide between this and a 6950 for a couple of weeks now, but the this week only offer has got me leaning towards the 480 now. Bit worried about the size though, does anyone have one of these in an Antec 300? Don't really want to have to start removing parts of the case to fit a card in...
well that's what you would have thought - but I just tried Mafia II for a bit and everything ran very well
