few things before i click buy on the 480 SOC.

I have antec 650w psu, will this do the job for powering it up?.

I am 99.99% sure this will fit in my case but if don't can i DSR it? even tho i would have taken it out of the box.

Will i notice a difference from the 480 SOC from my 5850 stock?.

Thanks

Sgt.

To be honest, the SOC overclocked one is at an amazing value. 580 speeds and it can also be overclocked a little bit further going by the reviews although they really drink power for breakfast. A whole system with an overclocked SOC was consuming 648W!!! :D

Good buy though, pick of the moment IMO.

Yes that will be fine but you will have to cover the cost of the return postage.

Before you ask, the fact that you got free delivery to receive the card in the first place does not make a difference.

My rig with a 480 running 850/1700 at 1150mv and an i7 at 4.0ghz uses no where near that.

It pulls 500watt from the wall running BFBC2. The pc will be actually using 430wattish once you factor in PSU inefficiency.

I am not denying your results I am just going by the Hard OCP review results which I trust.
