Golf Club away day tomorrow - off to Williamwood Golf Club for 36holes - stableford in the morning and then texas scramble in the afternoon. Food and drink a plenty!

Decided to take advantage of the 15% discount at AG by ordering 2 dozen golf balls. Now, for the last twelve months I've been using the AD333's but thought I'd try the Softfeel for a change, saving £2-00 per dozen. Trafford AG showed ample stock of the Softfeel balls, but upon arrival the salesman offered me 2 dozen AD333's at the same price of the balls I had ordered because they had none of the Softfeel in stock, so in essence I saved another £4-00 :D

Tempted to upgrade my irons now!

brilliant course and great day out from what I remember!;)

I do remember winning the stableford in the morning with 37 points mind you - back to back victories in our "Autumn Shield" as I won last year as well. So at least some silverware to uplift at the prizegiving this year!

Also was 1 inch from my 2nd ever hole in one. A lovely 52 degree wedge about 3 yards past the flag and spun it back right past the hole. Easiest 2 of the day!:D

Does anyone have any experience with either the Titleist RC11, OGIO Kingpin or OGIO Assassin?
Looking for a decent trolley bag for the days I cant face carrying and these seem to be top of my list so far.

Won a Wilson deep red 60 degree lob wedge on the bay yesterday, matches the rest of my clubs, and got it dirt cheap, very happy! Not so happy that the estimated delivery time is 8-10 days after paying £6 for delivery pfft

Thanks for that, how waterproof is it in the rain? Read a few people complaining about Titleist bags in the rain but nothing definitive about the RC11.

Found it for £80.09 from: http://www.golfbuyitonline.com/Titleist-2011-Reverse-Cart-Bag.php

The other two OGIO bags I can get for ~£75

cracking price - can't go wrong at that.

It's very decent in the rain, I played 18 holes about 2 months ago in the worst conditions I've EVER played golf in. Yes the bag was wet, but clubs stayed pretty dry and so did other stuff in my bag. NOTHING would have with stood all the rain that day.

Bag was bone dry in about 2 hours sitting outside in the sun the next day. Looking none the worse for wear.

18 holes booked on the par 3 again tomorrow, hopefully that goes ok, a few lessons so I can use my driver and ill take it out on the main course here. I am loving this game
