Had a previous KBS shaft that I tried in my old g425 max - Loved it - felt great, knew where I was in swing on the way down but it was way too high launching but felt nice in terms of feel etc.

3 days demo of shafts for £30 with pre-paid returns and whatever adapter you need from Tourshafts.com - Great comms/messenger chat with the guy yesterday.

Exactly my reason. I get no feedback from the stock Tensei AV White which I currently have and when at Scottsdale Recently tried the Ventus Black and Blue. Didn't like the extra weight of the 7 so opted for the 6. Price was a little steep so luckily found a Ventus TR Blue 6-X on eBay for £200. Arrived today so going top the range shortly. Just the feel in the club is instant. Feels so balanced

hey guys,

well..today I setup my new "hitting net" configuration. Happy overall, just im having some issue with the Rapsodo MLM2..my yardages seem way lower than I was expecting! :(

I tried adjusting the distances from net, machine etc.. different balls, (premium and budget). But I would say when I flush it, im still 10-15 yards shy of where I would expect to be?

I will be looking into it more now, still learning the basics on this device.

Just to follow up on my last post thought I'd throw up the video of my swing drill should anyone be interested. It's not one I've come across on youtube before now so if it helps anyone else then great :) You can also have a laugh at my expense :p

You might need to try the more expensive RCT balls - they are heavily hyped for launch monitor/net/indoor sessions due to the way they are made.

Check them out.... I know people have said they have made a great difference on launch monitors

nice... Let me know how you get on.

Any reason for X over S ?? - My general swing speed on driver is around 108mph club so a bit undecided on that. Current shaft is ROGUE® White 130 M.S.I. 70g version.
 
Lovely morning round Portland - Royal Troon's second course. Lovely course, not as brutal as the big course but very nice all the same.

Spot of lunch in the clubhouse - all very nice. Already have some work underway for next years Open coming to Royal Troon.

just overall feel tbh. I averaged 109 with my driver. The extra weight from the 7 series didn't feel great for me.

Just back from the range and the shaft feels so balanced. Feels so different to my Tensei AV White so will take a little getting used too.
Much better flight than my Tensei too.

Will test it out properly tomorrow on the course but feels so smooth

I have heard that elevation settings can make a big difference for readings, we will see..

Let me know - I'm tempted to order a couple of demo shafts to try next week as I have some spare time.

will do. I'd suggest you trying the 6X and the 7S. With your height you may not notice much with difference in the weight.

I'm only 5ft7 so made a difference to my swing using the heavier weight.
 
So this arrived today also. Initial thoughts. Compared to the V3 this oozes quality. Does feel very premium. Screen is crystal clear and the strapping feels very light and comfortable.
Will see how it performs on course tomorrow

Playing tomorrow and have the exact same tee time at the same course as last week when I was a bawhair away from an ace and my lowest score - be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.

Links course with very little rain this week so should get some good runouts. Greens were like ice last week, they were super fast.
 
Sat medal today, Stableford off the whites. A nice 77 today (+6 gross) which gave me 45pts. Index was 12.1 this morning so I reckon it'll be down to 11ish tomorrow.

Three birdies, one double and 2 daft three putts while I was getting used to the greens. I knew I was on for a score as I was out in +2 but felt completely relaxed and in control of my tempo all the way round.

I've never broken 80 off the whites at my home club before and I've been there for 11 years so I'm absolutely delighted with the round today.

great scoring - crazy infact - Handicap will get slashed for sure with that score. Well played!

3 days.

Dispatched Monday, should arrive Tuesday. Playing 18 holes with my dad around 4pm on Tuesday, will also probably hit the range for some proper testing on Wednesday/Thursday, then pre-paid return on Friday - so effectively 3 full days. Should get 18 holes plus 100 balls at the range at least in that time.
 
No golf for me this morning. Course has requested to be carry only due to extreme wet conditions so we decided to re-book.

Was looking forward to testing out the new watch and driver shaft properly. :(
 
Talking about driver shaft, coincidence or not, my driver shaft broke today. :(
Put my stand-bag down, it fell over with the driver in it... picked it up and it was in half. Gutted!

These tourshafts @booyaka - how do they work? I wouldn't mind hitting a few of them into my simulator to see what goes best. (is there a 'i want to demo these clubs' option?)
