I enjoyed breaking 90 more than I did 80 was an awesome feeling!Well I’ve finally done it, shot an 87 yesterday and handicap now 19.5, never thought it would happen this year after constantly failing to break 90!

LTDx - chefs kiss - love mine.So I've done a thing.
As mentioned the other day the one club I regret selling was my LTDx LS driver.
So I have found a mint one off GolfClubs4Cash. 9deg head with x-stiff shaft which matched what I had.
Delivered today so up the range I went to use the QC Launch monitors at Hagley.
Now my driver swing hasn't been great as lost confidence with my TSR but once I got into the grove results were as follows.
TSR:
Carry 246av. Total 257av. Ball Speed 142mph av. Spin 2880av.
LTDx:
Carry 258av. Total 276av. Ball Speed 145.9av. Spin 2180av
With a decent hit I managed to carry 270+ with the Cobra. My TSR gets no where near that
Now I need to mess with loft settings etc but this was all in standard form but instantly confidence and feel just oozed through.
So undecided what to do until I actually go out on the course and try it but my regret of selling it originally was right

Tweaking the TSR to get the spin down a bit and you'll find there's very little in them....
Spin number on the LTDx looks good - anything around the 2200/2300/2400 is ideal with driver.... The 2800/2900 with TSR basically means it's spinning up a little too much and hence the shorter carry...
But if it's a confidence thing and you can't tweak the TSR to get the spin down a bit, then go with with suits you best...And what feels best...
yeah I have tweaked my driver several times but it's started to not suit me anymore. I have got a couple lessons which my GF has got for myself so will see what happens after this as it's done on trackman.
But out of Curiosity I contacted Golfclubs4cash for a quote on my TSR3 complete with Velocore Blue Stiff shaft and they offered me £240
I don't. it came custom with the velocore attached. I'll see how my lessons go first before selling if I dostick old shaft in it if you still have it... sell the Velocore on ebay seperate
Out of interest what clubs did you take out - trying to work out your gapping on those choicesCut my winter carry to down to 6 clubs:
Driver
7w
7i
PW
SW
Putter
So much better for carrying and relaxed playing.
Yup. The time of year when your head tells you to try a new driver and then spend a silly amount on itDriver silly season is about to start, the new Cobra ones are being reviewed as of today. That'll be a few hours of watching and seeing how they perform.

I did manage to win my courses 3 club challenge last year which they do each boxing day but for the life of me I can't remember which clubs I chose, I'm pretty sure it was Driver, Putter and and Iron, luckily I avoided sand I remember that.
