Gran Turismo 7

Thanks I’ll give that a watch. I stumbled upon this guy last week he’s pretty good in the high 1:47’s on Monza. Really helpful video by Kireth Kart https://youtu.be/rgUMbT7IZes

Edit looks like it’s actually the same guy we both posted but different channels.

Yeah he puts the guides on Kireths channel too :)

Once I've set a decent lap on race B this week, I'll see if I manage to keep up with the A racers.

Love Dragon Trail.
Yeah it's a fun track, I've rolled the WRX a couple of times chasing the last few tenths!

If I can put the lap together properly I think I can get a mid to low 47 at the moment.

EDIT: 47.260 shared the replay, 47.109 possible if I got all my sectors together, that will do for now :)

Pretty impressive I was happy to get into the 48’s which puts me at the front in C. You were right I’m almost back at B again. Early days though everyone’s times will come down throughout the week. I’ll watch your replay tomorrow thanks for the share.

JayBayRacing has put up a track guide doing a 46.0, looking at it, he takes some corners differently to me including the death chicane, and the corner before the long downhill section.

I'll see where i start with my time, but might see if i can get the time down more later in the week.

My time started me in 9th, then 13th. Most are in the 46's in A/S, so I need to get quicker to not drop back to B.

First race I binned it in the Death chicane on the last lap after making up 3 or 4 places and finished 15th with a damaged engine. 2nd race I made up a couple of places and had a clean race.

I think I'll give the GTR a try tomorrow.

Made my way back up to B/S and having a great time now that I can compete. Clean races all night which is unusual. 12th to 8th might not sound much but it was an awesome race! I am still too cautious through the death chicane but I’ve hit that barrier on the right too many times to mention.

Nice one :) I've had some really clean fun races in B/S, some of the Monza Gr3 races last week were excellent.

I think i'll be dropping back to B/S at least on this weeks races (i just want clean fun races, so not fussed), i can't get into the 46's which is where most of the mid pack are in A/S on this track.

I did a few laps in the GTR, after 3 laps i was only .3 slower than my WRX time, so that might be worth try. I tested a few laps in plenty of other cars tonight and got into the high 47's, but i dont think i can go quicker in those.

I did some laps in the WRX and got a low 1:48, my optimal time was a mid 1:47 so I know there is plenty left of the table. I gave the GTR and the Ferrari a try as well. the GTR I was just off my best lap after only 2 laps and the Ferrari took a little a few more laps but got to about the same pace. I felt the Ferrari was a bit more nimble so but because it rides so low, the curbs you have to get just right. The GTR is more stable and planted than the WRX so it's easier to be cheekier with the curbs but doesn't have the same rotation and immediate acceleration.

I've run some more laps with various cars on Race B today.

I haven't beaten my GTR's 47.1, but I've equalled my WRX's 47.2 with the Alfa 155 & Merc SLS, both with time on the table. If I can get my best sectors together I should be in the mid 46's with the SLS.

There was some GT Arc Esports dude in my races this morning. An A+ player in the mid 1:45’s. Felt a tad out of my depth! I think it might’ve been because it was early and the game looks to fill rooms. The ranks were all over the place. Still fun though even near the back.

I see the Alfas around a lot but I don’t own it. Might give the GT-R a go then.

You should be able to rent all the Gr4's in daily races, if you don't own them.

I'm going to use the Merc SLS when I do some races later and see how it does in the races against the WRX's, it's the most fun to drive.

Talking of fun to drive I gave the 458 a few laps but couldn't get below a 47.5 which was a shame, as that's the car I want to use, haha.

I'm back in B/S, I wasn't fast enough to gain DR points in A/S starting near the back. I'd need to run high 45's or low 46's to stay with the mid pack. I think my best finish was 11th :D

Yeah the 458 is just lovely. It’s just so exciting to drive and the sound is something else. I’ll look into the rentals never really thought about it as I just pick the WRX like everyone else :D

I was a second up on my time earlier and bottled it in the chicane. Gutted but it’s there somewhere.

I've done 5-6 races with the SLS tonight, i'm competitive with the WRX's/GTR's/Alfa 155's in the B/S & A/S mixed races i've been in.

I just did some hot laps in it and beat my 47.114 in the GTR with a 46.940 in the SLS, i think that's about a bumper ahead, lol :)
