That was my question earlier, seems pointless to buy any of the cars now? I thought I was missing something.

To me renting just ruins the lobbies, I know most people will just buy the best cars as required but it means most the lobbies are just the BEST car rather than any variation. Recently all I see is WRX, WRX and WRX.

For what its worth I tend to get better lap times from the Alfa. Overall, throughly enjoying it, Makes a refreshing change from Warzone.
I like the challenge of acquiring all the cars so doesn't bother me, plus they are not mega expensive, seeing 12 yellow WRX's is getting boring mind, at least my WRX has 600 miles on it

I bought all the FR, MR & AWD Gr4's and around half of the Gr3's & Gr2's before they allowed renting.
If the daily races and cups stay as BOP, I'm going to sell them all except the handful I've made paintjobs for and enjoy racing when we get the option to Sell. Assuming it's not 50% or less of the purchase price.
Had a good few laps of Kyoto I don’t know this track at all really. The two chicanes are tough to work out! Went from 13th to 6th in the race so I am ok with that for a first spin. A 1:44.5 I am well slow but it’ll come eventually.

I can't get below low 45 
I tried a few cars tonight, I can do 42.2 - 42.3 in the Alfa 155, GTR & SLS. But I cant beat the 41.9 in the F458. I can't stand the WRX it turns like a boat.
I did 3 races in different cars, all in A+/S & A/S mixed races, starting around 12th-14th. I got punted in one and finished last. Made up a couple of places in the other two.
Hopefully tomorrow's update has some improvements, nerfing power in all AWD cars for BOP would be a start.

I'll keep trying still new to this really so more lack of ability on my side than anything else. Also for me, my best times come from the Alfa. As has been said the WRX turns like a boatYou could show your fastest ghost of the season and set it 0.3 ahead, and chase it for 10-20 laps, rather than chasing a top time.
On race B 2+ seconds can be easily lost if you don't get on the power early enough out of a few of the corners.

My own ghost is set to a second. I’ve not been on much this week but tonight I am free for a good stint so I’ll give it some laps later. Might give the GT-R a proper go.
It's 800k from the Legendary Dealer, i picked it up last time it was available after renting it in the Daily Races. No idea when it will be available again.
All mileage in Sport mode now counts towards the daily ticket.
