Gran Turismo PSP

It does need some form of incentive to play through the game. Just setting a new time isn't enough. It is for a few tracks or races, but not the entire game.
I'll still get it though :D

Hmm, not really.

Look at the race driver games on the PSP, still have a career mode and a damn good one.

This just seems really rushed to me, witch beggars belief as its taken years and years for them to make this game and there is not a single valid reason why from looking at it.
 
hmm look at Gt1 and GT2... both play great on the psp both have great detail, great career/expansion options for you to build your garage..

when making games for handhelds why do developers seem to have forgotten what they already achieved at PS1 time? and completely regress to nintendo/DS tyoe games with a sense of shallowness?
 
I have been trying not to read to much about this game and i have been really looking forward to it for months, had it pre ordered for ages.

Having just read that there is no career mode has gutted me and i will now be canceling my pre order. Like someone posted above, i would have preferred half the cars and a proper career mode.

Same here really. No point racing around a collection of tracks if there isn't a goal..... Lots of cars and tracks is excellent but seems to be no reward for using them...

As I said, budget game in a few years, but day release... Nah think I'll pass got enough games to be getting on with anyhow.
 
Just noticed there's no career mode.

Might not bother then. I think it's utterly shameful, all this time and we get the equivalent of GT:PSP:Prologue.
 
i was really excited about this game years ago when i bought my Jap import PSP before the UK release... It has been so long in the making that i lost all interest in it. Now that i have seen the reviews there is little to no chance i will be buying this
 
I have to say although it might seem like jumping on a bandwagon. But no career mode is utter fail.
It is basically a GT5:P but more extended (in terms of cars and tracks) and for the PSP.

For me the whole lure of Gran Turismo was the career mode. Otherwise its just another BIG generic racer game

Not exactly legal, no. You would need modded firmware, which is not allowed to be discussed here. Not done it myself, but it's supposed to run quite well.
