Gran Turismo PSP

Any one's copy arrived? Would love to hear someone's feedback from actually playing it.
Played a couple of races... and... it's GT on a PSP! It works really well on the PSP Go's nub, the physics feel great and the graphics are awesome. I'll give a full low down of how it works after a few hours play time.

Few hours in and I am really enjoying it. The only part of the career mode lacking is the licenses. You still race in a continuous way, winning money to buy cars. I really don't miss the licenses. Well recommended.

Really enjoying it. It is disappointing that there is no career mode, but there are loads of tracks and you do get an incentive to race in order to purchase new cars.

Its actually the first game i've played on my PSP for a long long time, it was just gathering dust.

Not a lot of people responding as you can't play it with 5.00 M33 CFW
That's the PSP's issue, it kinda narks me that people used the excuse of being able to run games off of memory stick (speed) as a reason to use custom firmware, but then slagging the PSP Go's lack of UMD slot.

Personally I think GT: PSP is a quality piece of software, well worth £20 odd. Here's a small video of it I made on my phone -

I tried this on my mates new psp go.
I do like it.
It is a portable Gran Tourismo as far as graphics and driving go.

Its just the lack of career mode and upgrades that lets it down.
I want to start of with some rubbish car and earn my way through a set of races.

I think with a career mode this game would be 10 times better.

I think I might trade in a few games for it tomorrow because it gives me something to do while I`m riding the bus to work and apart from the burnout games all other racers on the psp seem rubbish

Ok I have this game and tbh its quite good from a pure driving perspective, the graphics are good, the physics are good BUT the complete lack of career mode AND the inability to search for the cars I want to buy (seriously who thought limiting you to 4 manufacturers at a time was a good idea?!) is really killing the fun for me.

Such a promising game ruined but what seems to be glaring flaws in its production.

Also the graphics are somewhat naff on a few of the courses. It could definately do with more detail.

Bought this yesterday, really liking it so far, the physics feel a total clone of prologue, which is fine, as prologue's physics were what you would expect from a handheld! :p

Actually liking the lack of career, the psp is so uncomfortable to use for long periods of time, so a pick up and play game like this is fun :) Will tide me over to forza 3, and if you can transfer cars to GT5 from GT PSP come 2012 or whenever it'll come out, that'll be a nice touch :)

Got this today, not overly impressed.

Nice enough for the psp, but the lack of career mode and proper garages really ruins it for me. Plus, cant tune the cars properly and the AI is weak.

Could easily have been great, but now sits in the average pile.

Cant wait till GT5

Just played this on a friends PSP, and I'm sooooooooooo glad I canceled my pre-order:eek:

The game is shockingly boring, long load times, little or no sense of speed, and I just failed to get excited by it. I've been secretly hoping that all the reviews would be wrong and that it was really an amazing game after all. It isn't:(
