Am I the only person that hasn't got it yet? Luckily my mums mate who works in Tesco got us a copy but she had to post it too me at uni so I'm day behind! (if it does come 2moz!) :(

I saw pigeons on the stats page, but I was confused. Went to look in the manual... Worst.Manual.Ever.

Can you let us know what it's like online on PS3. I was at the store in midnight and had both versions pre-ordered and bottled it at the counter when I traded in CoD4, the guy picked up the 360 version and I was £4 short of being able to afford both.

If it's rock solid online I'll be picking it up on PS3.

got one of 22 copies the local all night ***** had at midnight on release for the console me and my friend got free(cant be bothered to go into it...) and then decided i couldnt wait to play it and went and got my own 360 today and a copy of it from ****, loving it so far!

No worries. I'd heard Gervais was in it, I guessed he was gonna appear at the Cabaret show which would have been awesome.

Bas Rutten is on the TV which was nice.

GTA IV has been built from the ground up, and would be the first GTA to be built from scratch since GTA3.

Everything else has been built on the engine that GTA3 used, hence why it would be so easy to include extra features in a shorter time period for GTA:SA.

I personally rate SA as one of the worst GTA games, I really don't see what so many people liked about it. It had bundles of features but didn't really do any one thing very well.

I'm really delighted with GTA IV, I honestly haven't been this pleased with a GTA game since the leap from II to III.

I couldn't care if planes weren't in the game, they always did handle horridly and didn't really add much to the game although it was quite fun flying them around.


As for whoever mentioned shooting the pigeons... THANK YOU! :D

I've seen one or two with the evil red glow (e.g. this is a weapon or something you can interact with) and just kept jumping on them or running on them to pick them up (like the old GTA games) I never thought of shooting them!

About Ricky Gervais, I didn't know he's on the radio but I have heard that he performs his own stand up show at the Comedy Club Split Sides. Supposedly a 3 minute show with new material. The Split Sides shows can also be found on the TV late at night.

I'm still loving Bas Rutten's "The Men's Room"...

Anyone caught a pedestrians sleeve in the car door and dragged them along the road? :D

Oh and then drive their head into a fire hydrant or something.

Funniest thing I have ever seen in a game.

If you press pause and go to Brief (I think) the last set of instructions should be listed.

But yes, it's X to dodge when locked on but you have to time it very well. Melee combat sucks a bit IMO, haven't done any since the start of the game.
