Well i love it. The only thing ive really noticed is with the sound. The voices arnt loud enough.

oh and where do I find the ignore button on here?

Just went to town at lunch, LOADS of copy in a computer game shop, i mean LOADS. Picked up a guide and saw a guy holding up a GTA4 poster and ask another guy about it, I asked are those for sale, he said no so I asked can I have one for free and he said yes :D

Put the Music sound to halfway and put the SFX down half way.
The voices are perfectly audible then, plus like mentioned, stick on the subs for good measure

Anyone else tryed the drink driving mini game, made me feel sick but it was funny watching Nico stumbling about trying to steal a car and watching roman fall over just in front of me :D

Also i was driving in a thunder storm and i was most impressed with the lighting effects and the smimmer and relections on the wet road

Click on their name -> profile -> add to ignore list on the right hand side under their avatar.

Ah I couldn't see that before, thanks!

I just turned my center speaker up 2 bars, now I hear the voices just fine :p.
TBH, it wasn't that much of a problem before I turned it up.

That would be fine but unfortunately I haven't hooked the TV up to my sound system :(

Who are you ignoring? :)

That would be telling :p

Yeah I have the subs on but the voices are great. Turning everything down to halfway then turning my volume up is a good idea, cheers.

hope this settles it down a bit...

gta 4 was released to a world who had spent all that time hyping over it

hype grows - peoples expectations grow

the more you hear about it - the better you expect it to be

its a great game

be happy that it is a great game

everyone complaining about the graphics etc -

just think for a while about how much you were expecting from this - if its not living up to your demands then the hype has got to you

im not trying to put anybody down - just knew there would be 100's of 'graphics arent as good as....... posts'

Good post, it happens with every game whether multi platform or not. We had it with Bioshock, Halo 3. Can we just stop with the comparisons and agree that both are great games?

I think the graphics are great.

Its just the dam car camera angles that annoy me. Keep having to use the right stick all the time.

yes! same problem here, camera is too damn loose, you turn tightly and you're blind

its stupid, in real life when you drive a car you are practically always looking where your wheels are pointing. In GTA you go into corners blind

Wandered to work this morning in Salisbury, thought I'd pop into Argos and check to see if they had any copies. 2 in stock! wooo. Couldn't find anywhere else that had any. Whats worse is that I've got a copy earlier than my friend who preordered 4 months ago :D He was peeved...

Im going to be honest with you lot, when I 1st played this, I thought the game was good, but not up to GTA standards.

After a while - you get used to the controls and the game and its one of the greatest experiences you will ever have playing the game!!

Buy it now :D
