don't drive too fast on the 360 version else you will have to wait for them high res textures to load

As I said, unless you actually saw them side by side, i doubt it would make any difference.
I game on a 50" 1080p screen and havent seen anything to make me think it would make any difference.
They both score a 10.
Wish some PS3 and Xbox360 owners would grow up. It's not just Xbox360 owners in the wrong, nor is it just PS3 ones.
Xbox360 ones might bite back, but PS3 owners will also be the 'poor winners' by gloating (and this thread wouldn't be the first time).
Why when this is a thread about the game (that's on both formats) it turns into a war on consoles I don't know.
It's a simple request.

If we made a list of threads where 360 owners gloated about superior versions of games ... I wonder how many of them where you or another mod jumped in to ' calm things down '.

There's no war here. From what I can tell most of what's been said, is in good spirit. The PS3 version is slightly better, Good. The reverse has been said a million times on these forums for various other ports.

Whether we did or didn't then doesn't matter, I am now, for a game of this magnitude it makes sense to keep things in order.
Because one set has done it doesn't make it right.
As for who cares, I think you do, as you were part of it on the last page, amongst others. This thread is for the game, not console bickering. Leave that to the PS3 or Xbox360 threads

I bet Nokkon getting it for PS3 now. He was having trouble deciding.

I have to say though the brief time I had with it was good, the graphics are much better than any other GTA but there are lots of low quality textures dotted around the place (walls for example) and stuff if you look close. You can tell as it's a 720p signal from the game being upscaled to 1080p, would have been much better if the game was natively 1080p !
Though I think it may just be the fact that I've always been a PC gamer since the Nintendo64 went into history so have been spoiled by high resolution textures all the time and we all know PC gamers are the most picky!
Still, from a distance it looks fine.

It will have MP out the box, this has to be the case since the console versions have it out the box!

It'll be incredible on PC. Especially if the SA-MP team manage to mod it.
(this isn't against the rules, iirc)

I have pre-orders in for both guaranteed come midnight, so it's still up in the air. I have a friend getting it on XBox360 so I'm thinking of going that way, but online on PS3 has me very intrigued. I can see me getting both.
