Also, I told you all there'd be a change on the United keeper front this weekend (I never said it was exciting).

Young was much better today than he has been recently, several times he was effective when cutting in (RvP's second chance for example) Valencia was just abysmal though, he didn't put in a single cross and lost the ball several times.

Yep, Valencia was a disaster. In the second half he should have been fresh enough to relieve the pressure but he was awful when we countered and sat too deep.

Im back from the game.
my god was it freezing out their!
on to the match. atmosphere was brilliant, we got behind our team throughout the game. no silence or anything. City fans were vocal too dispite only a few of them their.
On to the game.
Sorry but what was that penalty all about? i saw nothing. was shocked Kos got sent off as to me and the other 59k fans it was not a pen nevermind a sending off. what a ****ing joke the ref is.
he ruined the game big time. the 1st goal city scored was a joke. that was never a free kick! but arsenal were switched off and wasnt prepared so 1:0 down with a man down. game over really.
ref spoiled the game big time. it was a tall order playing city with 11 men but 10 men and a goal giften by the ref? no chance unless city hand us the opportunity which they diddnt.
Overal the lads did the best they can with the handicapped they had throughout the match. i cant understand why Diaby was playing? he is not match fit and has been injured since last summer. why play him in such a high profile match? Play Ramsey instead or Ashavin.

Kosthingy rugby tackled Dzeko to the ground when he would have had a clear opportunity to score. It was a straight forward pen and red card.

Meh Kos was rightly sent off and penalty awarded...it was the only outcome.
I just wish to god that our defenders would get it in their thick ****ing skulls not to give away stupid freekicks and fouls like the one Kos thought he would get away with.
Sometimes i wonder if Wenger actually watches our defenders and realises just how **** poor they really are. For the past few yrs we cant defend from set pieces is one huge glaring thing that is pointing Wenger right in his damn face but yet he refuses to do anything about it. What he does do is to sign these utter turd defenders on long stupid wages then realises that they arent good enough but we cant get shot of them because we have them on long contracts.
Makes my blood boil that does...beginning to think that the sooner Wenger leaves the better for Arsenal...sure we may suffer but we have been suffering for the past few yrs since Wenger has sold our best players and brought absolute rubbish in to replace them.
Ill say it again, our whole squad needs to be ripped out and re-built. Some of these useless muppets that call themselves Arsenal players should have their contracts bought out by us then told to **** off. Of course that wont happen and this season is the beginning of our Liverpool-esque demise....things are going to get worse from this season on until we get rid of the utter **** we have in our squad.

Worth quoting for all those constantly fretting about how supposedly bad Manu are. Yes the standards have slipped from the late 90's but clearly the points haul shows it doesn't matter that much when the competition is far worse on the pitch if not financially.
City aren't a threat this year, they are poor in comparison for the squad they have. Chelsea and Arsenal are wrapped for the year.
The titles over, I'm glad as a neutral City won today to at least try to keep united from having the last month off.

people still writing teams off this early? How many times last season were people claiming that various sides had it wrapped up?
Anything can happen, a bad injury, a player hitting a run of form, one side having European commitments...they can all change things.
