I'm no expert but those tomoato plants look advanced for this time of year. My advice would be to stake and support them as much as you can because from experience the weight of the fruit has often self destructed my tomato plants.
Anyone else manage out to their plots this week end?

I met my allotment new neighbours properly though & swapped contact numbers, a very good idea. As they said, just in case they come up & my shed is on fire!
Hi peeps,
I am in a flat at the moment and wondered if there is a decent solution to having a window box. I have no balcony and thought maybe there is some sort of box that could accomodate just fitting off the main window somehow ?![]()
Hmm not sure on this one, do you kn ow anyone that would alow you some space in their garden, or does the flats have gardens?
Try something like this: http://www.foxesboxes.co.uk/windows.html
Oh also dug up some old rhubarb, got it in a bcket and going into somewhere nice and dark
What's the deal with that then? I've got a couple of big, old rhubarb crowns that'll need thinning/separating for next year. Are you doing that in prep for next year or are you going to be growing them in the dark like they do in the rhubarb triangle?
