GT200 GTX280/260 "official specs"

nVidia like their round price points so...

£400 for the GTX280

£300 for the GTX260

And I think ATi will fill the space at £200-£250 and £100-£150 leaving the X2 to come in at £300.

Let's just say £350 and have done with it :D

Something you know that we don't? ;)

400 for the 280

325 ish for the 260

I'd be happy with that. I think that's at the optimistic end of the scale for release prices though, particularly for the 280 (probably looking at £425-£450 for that one on release). You won't be too far off the mark though, and we all know they fall quickly in the coule of weeks after release, as long as supply isn't an issue.

Geforce GTX 280 will leave you in shock

"Just wait until June 17th when the newest series of GeForce GPU's launch, and you'll start asking yourself when you last witnessed such a dramatic technology improvement. If you thought the GeForce 8 series blew the 7-series out of the water, this is going to leave you in shock. That's not my own marketing spin... Benchmark Reviews is presently testing the new GeForce video card."

We pretty much know how much the 280 will be as the 9800GX2 was 600 bucks at launch.

So typically the card will cost around £400-£450 and if you are lucky at launch you could find one around £375.

I hope the 280 doesnt require an 8 pin otherwise I'll have to buy a new psu as well, hopefully it will be like ATI when it was just needed if you o/c

(yeah I know I doubt it also)

Well, thats my 8800gtx sold, dam fine card it was too, had it since release day, will be sad to see it go, just taking it out my main PC now :(, back to good old 6200 for a few weeks :p, these gtx 280's better be good, I'm living on beans and toast for a month to get this card.
