***Han Solo movie***

There's obviously something wrong with me. After watching the trailer and expecting nothing, I kind of feel it looks ok. It's a spin off, and it's unlikely to be dealing with great menaces, so I think it may just be ok, or at least Rogue One ok (certainly seems to retain that light humour).

They should have dubbed Harrison Fords voice over.

A further suck on the teet of the cash cow.

The next line is probably "something...something nerfherder/scoundrel", because Disney will now go back to being boringly predictable after making no ****ing sense at all in TLJ.
 
Doesn't look like a Star Wars film at all other than Chewie and the Falcon. Can't say I'm excited in the slightest
 
Huge fan of the Original Trilogy, like massive. When everyone else was finished with their star wars toys in the 80s my best mate and I would swap stuff for other peoples and kept collecting after the shops had no stock.

The prequels were a real disappointment for me but they didn't really encroach on the characters I loved so I just kind of ignored them. However I stepped away from Star Wars immediately after leaving the cinema from The Force Awakens. I was crushed after that film because I knew that was it. Disney were going to do a bad Marvel job on Star Wars and the writing and storytelling was down the pan. Friends of mine kept the faith through Rogue One and Last Jedi but I was out.

Now I see others starting to waiver. For the sake of your reputation I advise everyone to get out, get out right now...

If anyone asks if you're a Star Wars fan by this time next year your answer should be either "No" or to explain to them about Harmy's Despecialised Trilogy.

Looks okay I guess, but why when the Star Trek re-boot managed to capture the essence of many of the original characters in their younger years, does this seem to fall miserably short with Han?... it is just not him at all :/
 
There's been a ton of talk about this movies development, even going so far as to say the guy they picked to play Solo can barely act and is constantly accompanied by an acting coach. Ron Howard was brought in to finish off the movie and its rumoured he's had to re-shoot up to around 50% of it.
 
I'm trying to put into words how I feel about that teaser.

The best I can manage is - hngh.
