Harry and Meghan to resign

Now .. Harry's autobiography/memoirs - is he planning on checking out ? 35M($/£) contract to prostitute the royal family,
why doesn't Charles give him the money, even, if he is now rewriting a more conciliatory ending, it's publication will be the End.

Whilst I agree, there seem to a lot of specifics. Either way, they're out now so best if they are left to it. If you don't like them then simply avoid their Spotify/Netflix/books etc...
Quite. "Attention Seeking Horror Couple Never Off Our Front Pages" howl the editors within whose power it entirely rests as to what goes on those front pages.

It's really is staggering that there are so many people out there like @Ayahuasca who've left themselves so vulnerable to this basic nonsense. There's a fairly straightforward societal and patriotic obligation of any citizen to educate themselves out of that sort of vulnerability.

Uh oh. Looks like someone's been triggered by this and is now spending their day trawling through my post history. Cringe.

I'm no Royalist but as an observer it always amazes me the ire and newspaper coverage that this couple recieve compared to that of Andrew.

I don't really understand this line of criticism, Andrew has had plenty of flack from the press for rather dirtier allegations but it's almost like there's some implication that because he's worthy of criticism then that means others shouldn't be criticised?

They're in the public eye, thanks often to them putting themselves in the public eye and because the public is much more interested in Harry & Will, then Will and Kate + Harry and Megan than they are in coverage of Andrew... so they're inherently going to get plenty of coverage and because of their actions, some of that is negative.

The result seems to be some moaning that because Andrew is way more of a wrong un he should have had more column inches dedicated to negative coverage of him but that's not really how it works, there's less interest in him in general so obviously, Harry and Megan will get more coverage - some of which will be critical.

Andrew isn't really doing a lot and there isn't much to report. Harry and Megan are a constant source of new material. Its not really surprising.

How are you going to sell repeat front pages on Andrew if he's not doing anything. He's not done any more moronic interviews, his accuser accepted a fat payoff instead of trying to sue him for money. There's nothing new to print.

Harry and Meghan are producing fresh content for the gutter press by actively seeking attention and claiming to be hard done by which is a can of worms.

This whole thing is clearly a conspiracy to drum up interest in the Royal Family much like how any drama does nowadays. Don't have to look far on social media to see all the parasocials coming to the defence of their favourite personality.

I never read anything about H&M, I couldn't care less unless it was something potentially illegal or they had ties with some of the worst people on the planet.

That was my point.

Or are there stories about H&M that I should read?

Gossip/Relationship/Celebrity stories are big money.

And if it's a self sustaining story then that's free money every time there's an update.

No, you should read what you want.

I'm just pointing out that it's not that amazing that they'd receive more coverage, people in general simply aren't as interested in Andrew.

Sorry, I didn't mean it to sound like a challenge - I was genuinely wondering if there was something I should read.

It's partly my fault, I don't read gossip articles or the like unless by accident. I know that sells, maybe I'm just more amazed by what people want to read which, again, is my problem. :)
