Hazro - Any Update?

I was gonna take the plunge and get two 26" hazro's, but now im worried about their response times/status of the company. Also do OCUK actualy have them in stock?

Can anyone recommend a stand/arms that would hold two 26" hazros?
 
after having the HZ26Wi for a couple of months now, I would highly recommend it. It's a great screen. No problems with green snow or the like either through the DVI or HDMI (PS3) connections. My only gripe is the vertical banding on gradients, but other than that it is a top quality screen.

Who knows if they actually have any in stock or not. They say 10+ units just like the HZ30W, but it could be another "accident". We should really get gibbo to come along and tell us what the deal is, and why we are being misled.

Are you not going to get the firmware upgrade then mrcrisp to fix the gradient banding? Agreed, it is a fantastic display. I only want the firmware done then I'll be a very jolly person indeed.
 
Are Hazro in a financial position to afford shipping these monitors up and down the country at their cost?

I was going to buy one of the 24Wi's but I want to see if they are still going to be trading in the new year after swallowing all the RMA/shipping/repair costs during this credit crunch.

Going by the length of time it has taken Hazro to get back to some of you with just a reply, they are either extremely busy or extremely short staffed.
 
HZ30W in stock on monday or tuesday - some people have had their 26" f/w I believe. Give up trying to contact them for suport through the site - you gotta email it in. Cant say much about the other models but the 30s are awesome and problem free. Still waiting for a pic in silver of any monitor!!! anybody who has one: please please post some pics

Where did you get that info from? OcUK or Hazro?

I spoke to OcUK this morning and I was told that they did not know when they would be getting stock in. Anyway, I guess there's nothing much to be done, just kind of irritating that the website would be changed to display stock, when this was not the case.
 
Jesus! I got a reply from Hazro within 30mins of emailing them! Now with there being only 2.5 weeks to Christmas should I RMA my screen asap or wait till the New Year? I must have a screen over the festive period!

Depends on how bad the prob is- how much does this banding really affect us? i speak for myself only but to me, its not a prob. Infact, i had to go looking for it to notice it!
 
don't get the 30", i have had post bios failure, tested it on another machine as requested by Hazro and it did the same thing, returned it for repair and they have said no fault and want £45!!

times are hard and Hazro and they are now charging for repairs!!!

I'm thinking of getting a Playstation 3 as a present for myself at Christmas and I was wondering if any other 24" owners have hooked one up to their Hazro?

If so, what are your thoughts and impressions?

Having owned the 24" for a good while I can report that I haven't currently experienced any problems that have already been discussed - will hooking the PS3 up, potentially raise any gremlins.

screen works fine until windows loads, then i get a screen full of multi coloured vertical lines.

i tested it on another machine with a nvidia agp gpu and XP (mine has a 4870 and Vista64) and it did the same thing.

if i put a cheap 20" LG on both machines it works fine.

Hazro said no fault found, there is a problem with your PC and by the way you owe us £45 to get your monitor back.

i would strongly suggest that any one with any monitor problems return them to OC first as they will test and confirm the problem leaving Hazro no choice but to repair under warranty!!

have Hazro started doing the firmware upgrade to the 26Wi? how's your 26wi keeping these days?
 
OcUK website still showing stock for Hazro monitors. Still no stock is actually present.

OcUK are aware of this, but aren't doing anything about it :confused:
 
Ok I've just received an email from Hazro telling me the cut off date for the firmware upgrade is this Friday (12th). That means your displays must reach them by Friday.

mrcrisp, apparently 26Wi were being recalled around October time but nobody told me! I haven't been able to send it off to them yet - but will have to this week. Apart from the banding everything is perfect, I hope it stays that way when I get it back.
