Hazro - Any Update?

IIRC Feb time was the release of the new models so maybe it's this!

Oh damn, I have a gut feeling Hazros new screens will really shine. I mean as a company there relatively new to the monitor market and their initial attempts at making monitors have been very impressive and well received.
Should I wait

im not sure thats correct:confused:

from what i have read and from this thread its only the public sector they are new in as they are from the ground up built aound making/designing and manufaturing scientific screens such as the monitors youd find in hospitals (life support and general diagnosis...etc) govermental and maybe in some R&D facilities that demand it.

so to say they are new to the market is a slight exageration.

i like to think them as the men in black...

here to protect us from evil low grade panels trying to infiltrate our way of living...

working above the industry standard specifations...

they have no name...

they dont exist...

they simply call themselve...

HAZRO:D:D

Is there any word on a trade-in program for the new version next year? I've had my monitor on for almost a thousand hours so far and the backlight is still very uneven in the lower left of the screen. It's very noticeable when watching a video that is 4:3 and has letterboxing along the sides - the left almost seems to be grey instead of black.

Did Hazro every release an official document on how to get rid of the green snow by using power strip or do I need to go dig further back in the thread to find advice other people gave?

I fancy getting it fixed as I get quite a lot of snow when watching 24. It seems to be in the right colour range to get the issue :P

I've not seen a document release for this, I think they were sending it out to people who requested it really due to the risk factor of messing around with the timings!

Have you got a copy of it?

I'd love to see a proper instruction of how to do it, as I'm not a muppet and wanting to be careful not to actually break my screen!

I don't unfortunately sorry, I've never even seen it and never chased it further as the green line/snow issues for me was fixed after switching to nVidia and on ATI by switching DVI port.

Sadly for me, I have two nVidia cards and both produce snow :(

I'll go digging through the thread soon then.

Yup some people have solved it by doing various things like using 59hz refresh etc. See what others have done :)

Hmm my monitor has stopped working tonight. Not even got round to downloading Powerstrip yet :/

The symptoms are, when I power it on the power light on the front comes on for a second and the panel seems to try to power on, like usual when you turn it on (i.e. it flashes as the backlight has turned on) , then it turns off and the power light goes off. About 2 seconds later it repeats and repeats.

It's just doing that over and over. It was working and my computer turned the monitor off as the screen saver had been on. Now it wont work. My power supply light is on and looks to be working :(

Any ideas? Is this a RMA to Hazro? :( I hope not I've got a LAN in 2 weeks!

Thanks.

Is it an updated firmware one you have? the power saving issue was fixed in the latest 2.1 firmware.

The fix for now though is to hard reboot the PC and don't tell windows to turn the screen off.

Had this monitor for about 6 months, haven't had any snow or problems apart from the horizontal banding on gradients since I got it. I don't want to sift through the whole thread looking for advice, is there anything I can do?

Banding means you have the old firmware so the only fix is to not let it go into power save mode and contact hazro for it to be firmware upgraded and have the ioboard changed (which has hdmi etc).
