bloody demanding arnt you, for beeeeeeeep sake hes not your slave! Also, theirs no need for shouting

EDIT: that looks incredible by the way! Funds permitting it's now ahead of the dell on my wish list by a long way.

sorry i'm usually not like this :p i was in hype :D

cause this is the LCD i've been looking for ages....

mrk: when you have time test some lag if you can

lol I had to go to bed early!

Nice pics mrk, cheers fella.. Least i dont have to wonder about which screen I want now :P

As above, hows the input lag on this model?

Cheers!

And here it is in normal daylight!

I will stress that the reflections are no way disturbing when the screen is on!

Man, I can't wait to get mine replaced now :(

Is the glossy screen distracting at all? In those photo's it basically looks like... a mirror... lol

It looks like it but see the 2 pics one with screen on tilted to the ceiling light and one with it odd? that gives you an idea on how it looks reflections wise when in use :)

omg I can't believe how amazing that looks... what's responsiveness like in FPS games, and does it do 1:1 scaling (couldn't see that stated)?
I find it better than the old version which "felt" only a bit slower than the Dell 2007WFP I had before the 24 inchers. It feels near instant. The new scaling chip is clearly far far better now! I don't use any other res now apart from 16:9 for 1080p on external sources and 1920x1200 so I'm ok here with 1:1 but according to the manual "wide" is 1:1 mapped for 1080p so I am assuming this means it's tailored 1:1 for 1920x1080 whilst other resolutions will be stretched with either a black border on the top or sides if it's a 4:3 aspect.

can you measure input lag with a crt?
If you can give me a free CRT :p

Thanks mate! Any chance you can try the 1080p res to see what it looks like and maybe take a pic?

Could it be that a replacement now actually exists for my NEC 20GX2?:D

This screen looks awesome....but I am torn between the 24" and the 26" versions, I guess the one that has the lowest input lag will take my money !

Does the 26" Hazro have HDMI input ?
Is it subject to the same revision ?

I will test with the Pixperan program when I get home!

It's worth noting too that the NEC 20GX2 cost £400+ when new! my old workmate has one and paid dearly for it but it was very impressive and probably one of the best IPS panels for gaming next to the Dell 2007WFP !

I'll also take a pic at 1080p when i'm home from work. I did run it 1680x1050 and the scaling chip is defo much better, there was minimal image quality loss whilst text was very readable but since it's out of native res it's not as crisp as you'd expect but certainly better than other screens I've seen. It would be worth knowing the model of the scaler chip perhaps!

Mrk, I would really appreciate it if you could compare it to the BenQ FP241W in terms of gaming responsiveness and ghosting etc.

I read your comparisons for the older Hazro, and from that it seems like the BenQ FP241W would be better suited to gaming. Has anything changed to make this new Hazro any better?

Yes the old Hazro did have some input lag compared to the BenQ but it was not bad or anything like the Dell 2408 which was very bad! I got used to the old Hazro but this is something else, they were right when they said that the new scaler should improve input lag and black ghosting! I rated the BenQ on the same level of gaming performance as the Dell 2007WFP but now the new Hazro feels better than both of those!

The best thing is black details seem better now too without washing out the whites too much. Out of the box colours are very good, according to the Eye-One probe the factory defaults were very close to being accurate - colour temp was 6600K and I left the luminance and gamma unchanged as they were comfortable at default values.

After a second calibration run dE values remained pretty much the same, the second result gave 0.41 (previous was 0.40) - by comparison the old Hazro was 0.78 lowest !
