Hazro - Any Update?

It helps to have accurate colours ;) the brightness and gamma is almost spot on out of the box, the before/after comparison the Eye-One software does showed that the factory colour was slightly more red biased than a calibrated screen - it's not something you'd notice or be worried about at all unless you're doing photo critical work :)

I also have some good news! I managed to borrow a Dell 17" CRT from work so will compare with that tonight. What's the best way to compare the 2 side by side anyone know?

put them in clone mode and use any stopwatch program (preferrably not an online one) and take pics of them both to show input lag

Thanks mrk, really helpful fella :) Hoping for some good results on the input lag, if so then I definately know what my new monitor is going to be. I love these glossy screens, the one on my dell laptop was superb for games/movies.

Does Baddass manage TFT Central? might be worth updating the news article on the new models to note than the "Video out" spec mention is actually 'Video in' and that the 24" has the polariser ;)

Also is there a way on nvidia drivers to set the resolutions in clone mode to different res on each screen? it's advised to use both screen's native res and the Dell CRT supports 1280x1024 max so I'd like to keep this for that and 1920x1200 for the hazro respectively.

Also I think the red/white audio connections are inputs since you need them for the composite video in (yellow connector).

The only audio out is the 3.5mm connector so to connect to anything but a PC soundcard you need a 3.5mm to RCA cable like the QED one I currently use from PC to amp.

I'll give all the connections a test over the weekend as it will involve moving around the DVD player downstairs and Wii for *** HDMI/Component connections. The camcorder can easily plug into the Composite in.

Well if you are all fine ladies then who am I to deny such an offer :p

I think the HZ24Wi will shape up to be the best 24" professional/gaming LCD you can get once I get the input lag tests out the way even if it costs more than £400 it certainly is a step above the Dell 24 inchers out now (how many have they released to date?? LOL!)
