Ok sorry I started washing and waxing my car as I realised I'm away for most of the weekend so might not have time! just finished and did the input lag test :p

The Hazro is on the right, in clone mode the nvidia driver does not allow for independent resolutions (still...) so both were running at 1280x1024. The CRT was connected using a DVI to VGA adapter.

The average ms difference is almost exactly 30ms so better than the previous revision and perfectly "gaming" friendly. This is only a test though so real world look and feel usually is a different story (a good one in this case)

I'm just glad I was able to buy and try the other 24" screens on the market before choosing to take a chance with an unknown brand only knowing that it had an IPS panel and looked great!

Btw I really really like this monitor now! if I had the money I'd get another for dual screen but alas, I spent all my money on this one!

Thanx so much for the input lag measurement ;)
Saw your thread on [H]ard|OCP too. You are doing a great job promoting the Hazro lcd's :D

Came across this table from tft central wich shows the 26" Hazro to have much lower inputlag.
If this is the case I will of course just buy that one. But still why so big differnce ? it's almost twice as fast.
Seem the bigger the screen the lower the input lag. Hmm I always thought it would be the other way round

Really wanted the 24" because of the lower dotpitch

I need to find a way to test input lag so the screen is in native res, can only do that next to a 24" TFT but I only have access to a 22" one, bah!

Remember the 1080P resolution scaling shot when you get time... no rush though. EVen if you can just tell us your opinion of how the desktop looks at that res that would be great. :)

Ah yes almost forgot sorry!

Just tried it and visually it's no different to 1920x1200, nothing is stretched etc. Videos and images are perfectly normal. Text however is a tiny bit more blurry, text that has undergone the ClearType smoothing by Windows that is as non Cleartype text looks normal.

I guess because 1080p is intended as a video resolution only it's not too much of an issue!

Damn I wish I could send you my CRT. It will do 2048 x 1536, 60hz.

The Hazro might be faster in native res...

hmm 22" crt. Thought it was a 17". How high will it go ?

-----Edit------
I guess the answer is 1280 x 1024

you could always send me the Hazro. I will input lag test that beauty into the night man.. :-)

Any comments regarding the possible difference between Hazro 24" and 26" input lag ? I'm really baffled that the 26" is possible faster..

There must have been some differences really in the H226W.

The 26" I don't think will show the same difference in the new "i" model though but tftcentral will have to find out!

Yeahh looks pretty good but what the shame it's not a wide gammut.
In addition, this is not a true 24",isn't it? 22"? So that mean hz26wi is a 24"? (i say that for the pitch which is important for me)

Anyway,i hope hz26wi will be as faster as Hz26w.

Could you take several pictures to see reflections in normal daylight when it turns on?

where are you getting these new Wi models from? Will OC UK be stocking them? I only see a preorder for the W, not the Wi

MRK, is it your opinion that these panels will be very good for gaming and movies as well as photos?

I've been using the first revision 24" Hazro since they came out and I game, watch movies and Photo edit virtually every day of the week and have had zero problems with that version (DPMS issue and isolated backlight issue aside)

This new revision feels faster and has a better quality panel with polariser so I'm even more happy.

So to answer your question, yes!

how does the gaming experience compare to a high end crt? My crt is one of the best ever made, Sun Microsystems GDM-5510. It is simply tremendous for every kind of application, however I would like to get a widescreen display, and one that is easier to transport when I move to London in not too long.

Is the transition smooth yet crisp across frames, or is there the sensation of blur?

How do you get ahold of these revised versions of the monitor? I definitely want a blossy screen. Is the HDMI out only on the revised version?

Not to worry I'm sure OcUK will sell them as soon as they are available

mrk: Any chance you might be able to get hold af CRT which can display 1920 x 1200 to test input lag in native resolution ?

Was really hoping for a somewhat lower input lag :(
