Hazro - Any Update?

TFT Central also gave glowing reviews to the other Hazro models, with no indication of the problems that buyers were subsequently to experience...

That was a review of the monitor at the time with no issues unless you used Vista.
Since then the monitor has been upgraded, these are the ones with the outlined issues in this thread.

If only TFTCentral could have seen into the future and pre warned us, Or even pre warned hazro not to do......:D

my 30" Hazro is Win, except for the single dead pixel in the top rightish part of the screen, although because of pixel density I can only spot it on a dark color, unless i look well close at it :D.

The only thing i dont like is the refresh rate. In something like COD4, if i go upto a person and then move the mouse quickly etc the amount of space in between each redraw of the face is quite large, makes it look like im running at lower fps that i am. Not a big issue, as i expected it, and also probably shouldn't sit 10 inches from the screen while trying to look at this. Image quality and colors are good, althoug hi dont have naything to configure them so i can't check that.

edit: build quality etc seems awesome, I am having no isses with green snow or anything like that. I haven't noticed any actual problems with it, I also havent got round to tweaking the graphics options to get contrast or anything set nice, just turned the brightness down a bit, I just tend to get used to a monitor looking how it does. All "seems" even etc, but I am not a monitor buff so I dont know much about them. If you PM me I can check/look for something specific once I have finished rebuilding my pc in the next week.....so much cable management lol.

Anyone got a 30" version and what do they think of it?

Trawled the thread but couldn't see any pics of one.

we had 2 before swapping them for 4xHZ24WBi's...our PCs didn't support dual link outputs so Hazro were kind enuff to swap em out...had them for a week or so and first impressions: bluddy huge! similar design to the HZ24Ws but the bezel has a uniform width all round [on the current 24's, the bottom bit of the bezel where the Hazro logo sits is slightly wider than say the sides]...no OSD like ACD and Dell, just brightness control...nice monitor and yes, we too were told that they use the same panel as the 30" Apple display...in terms of pics...sorry none

Sounds good :D (i'm kinda hoping they DON'T make a revised "i" model lol - unless they don't rush it!)

Is the perceived lag okay?

Any chance of any pics? :)

I can put some pics up tomorrow, ill take some tonight, although its not operating atm as im rebuilding the pc it is on. by percieved lag i assume you mean the 12ms grey to grey response time, which is fine but then again i haven't gamed that much on it yet, when i did i only really noticed it when i was looking for it. Once i get everything back up and running, hopefully this week - depening on time at work etc - I will see if i can record it. Although I only have a 5mp phone camera to do it all on.

Thanks, appreciate it :D

Would be good if you could do some 'comparison' pics as well, so you can see how huuuuuuuuge it is :D

Anyone here with the 24" version say how good it is for watching blu-rays on?

Im tempted to get it despite the problems as it does seem to be the best available but the so-so black level puts me off.

I have the NEC20WGX which is an IPS panel and the blacks are average on it, does the Hazro have a compareable black level?

I wont get the pics up until more like monday, as ive currently got NO space to put the pcs im building on the desk, anywhere else. Stupid moving house lol. I should be able to post up on monday, by which time i will hopefully have rebuilt my machine so will be able to show you it running. I can compare it to the Asus 22" 2ms one, and/or a 17" crt depending on space on my desk for them all.

Cool, thanks :)

Any chance you could make a new thread when you do? (will probably be lost in this thread).

Will start a new thread once I get proper monitor pics, Ill probably just include them all in one build thread of the machine since people have requested pics of my project

I've seen benches giving around 34 at 2560 res. still, ill find out when i finish off the build tonight. Warhead gives much better fps apperently, it runs on much lower hardware at more fps's :D

Anyway, post wasnt for the kit, it was an old pic that happened to ahve the monitor in it :D
