Hi Giga Man,

I have a Z77X-D3H running F15 bios when in the Uefi it wont let me use my Razer mouse am I missing some setting or is it just not compatible?
Same here - just flashed to F15 and although my Razer Death Adder works, the vertical plane is inverted. (...)

Please try to upgrade into F16d bios
If this won't solve it then contact our tech support

I've the Asus Xonar DGX 5.1 sound card, when I plug it into the motherboard (Gigabyte Z77 D3H) it boots up but there's no display

Use this F19b bios

Hey GIGA-Man!

I have been hearing high pitched noises coming from my motherboard recently (GA-Z77X-D3H). Is this a common issue? Is there anything that can be done about this?

Thanks,
Harry :)

Try upgrade into the latest bios. It this won't help then just RMA it.

Please can you take a look at the end of this thread regarding problems with the backlight on the Aivia Osmium keyboard. I have also posted in your own forum where there is another report of the issue.

Hi,
Could you comment on my other thread. Will this motherboard do all that I want it to do, and will it be compaitble with all future AM3+ CPUs.
Thanks

AMD Bulldozer FX-8 Eight Core 8150 Black Edition 3.60Ghz (Socket AM3+) Processor - Retail with H20 Cooler
Gigabyte 970A-DS3 AMD 970A (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard ** FREE NEXUIZ GAME **

I want to use my current Phenom II X2 550BE and unlock the cores (which works fine on my current motherboard), then at some point upgrade to the above CPU.

Can I confirm this M/B will be able to unlock the cores and also take the bulldozer and future AMD CPUs?

Is this board future prooofed to all new AM3+ CPUs or does it have something missing?

Thanks

Hi GIGA-MAN.

Had problems now for 6 months when i purchased a i7 3770k. multi was locked for 6 months so couldnt overclock. now with new bios, unlocked multi and now having problems with cpu volts.
im talking to gigabyte tech team and they say the motherboard cant go over 1.2 volts because of i7 3770k heat limitations. i can put in 1.4 volts and it wont go over 1.2. stock this cpu is 1.164 so that isnt much over stock. i have emailed them saying the cpu can go to 1.35 volts safe on intel specs as as long as good cooling is used. they say 1.2 is as much as i need. i know this is a load of ____. when i purchased this board i payed £295.00 and even now after bios update cant use any gigabyte software and the drive bay overclocking unit dont work, causes the pc to freeze. load line calabration has vanished, i really think i have been ripped off as i informed the seller 4 weeks after i purchased the board and was told to wait for a bios update. 6 months later no better really. on the box it states ivy bridge compatable and to say it is is a joke. I cant understand how your tech department say 1.2 volts is the max this chip will run safe. just because your bios wont go over that. 6 months i have sat on this motherboard unhappy, 4 weeks after buying this board sent the company email saying im not happy with this purchase that was 4 weeks after i bought it. 6 months later its no better. is there anything u can do as i want a fully compatable motherboard like i asked when i bought this and its not. please look into this because if i cant get this resolved i will never buy gigabyte again. i have payed a premium for a premium board that dont work as intended or told it would. i would like to change for a fully compatable board like i asked the company i bought it from.. :(
just like to say my cpu stock is 1.164 so 1.2 volts is nothing to say its more than i need is not acceptable. :( i even posted problem over at xtremesystems and they cant understand it aswell.

First of all apologies for the problem. I assume from your other threads that you have Sniper 2, correct? I will check about this case internally and will try to make you happy. Please hold on

Hi GIGA-Man,

Slightly off topic but whats Gigabytes policy regarding stock cooler removal on your gfx card range?

Are we allowed to remove lets say the 670 windforce cooler and apply our own TIM or fit a water block for our silent machines without voiding the warranty?

GV-R797OC-3GD

Hi Giga-man and welcome.....

Been having some problems with my new 7970 oc windforce 3 (GV-R797OC-3GD) it looks very much like the voltage is locked and hard coded on the card to stop any further overclocking, as even bios changes do not unlock the voltage.
Could you please confirm if this is by design or a possible faulty card

Thanks ...
