Do you guys know you can buy a special fast track pack from vendors that gives you UNLIMITED fast travel? forever?!! Buy it straight away!!
Yeah same here, this game actually feels like a PC game on console! And I've never said that before. I just love it. I don't think the game is too complicated or too simplified, for me its all just right.
The XP bar is top right, the blue bar. You can XP from monster kills, completing mission/side mission objectives and I believe clearing out camps. Each level up should give you a point to spend in the tree. I'm Lv13 so far and really hooked. Just killed 2x Sawtooths that were tormenting two npc clowns. They're tough to crack!Where do you see your xp bar in this game? And how do you see how much xp you currently have? And how do you earn perk points to spend on the talent tree? Do you only get those when you level up?

If you're at the early point in the map where you're hunting in relative safety with Watchers and Striders then yes they're quite simplistic in their nature. It's when you go beyond the gates of that starting point when things get a tad more complicated. I'm not really using traps all that much so Sawtooths give me quite a headache. But like I said, I'm practically at the start of the game with many hours to go, hopefully I'll get hooked like a did on Witcher, TLOU and Uncharted.

I've named my robot horse "Roach".
It's a visually stunning game but let's not pretend it's something it isn't.
Well, whatever ... I'm already far more engrosed in this than TLOU or U4, but that is mainly because I'm a open world fan, but I also like the setting and charaters far more... Aloy is a superstar
However, the main thing here is the gameplay, and there is something truly joyous about the way you interact with this that feels so natural, and so very-very good; and being a 'game' rather than an interactive story, that is more important. So, no pretending... this is by far the better game, for me anyway.
