I did same method too! I found them worst enemy in game was glad I didn't seem em often!
Just a heads up for anyone that completed the game and got a platinum trophy since they released new game plus in the summer.
You will not automatically get emailed the code to download the platinum avatar as the new game plus adds in two trophies so at 100% of the Base game shows as 95% overall. Sony will only email you on 100%, they cannot see that you have earned the platinum.
You can ring them and after a few checks, in my case emailing them screen shots proving the trophy is in your name and they will then add it to your profile.

just make sure your bow damage is decent and hit weak spots

I really hope you can give orders to control the machines like you can with the partners like on metal gear but also hope they make it easier to override multiples and have a number of machines you can take into battle!

The latest patch (1.40) has sorted out the water effects so that there are waves and ripples when crossing rivers, etc. But to me the water is the only thing that doesn't look as graphically superior as everything else. It looks more like a river of jelly, too viscous-looking.
