US: House of Cards

Can't wait to storm through this season! I wonder if it will be the last season or if they will push it to 4 seasons. Surely all his crimes will come to light and lead to a very fast exit from the whitehouse and that'll be it? I guess we will have to wait and see.
 
Spacey has said he's willing to do as many as they'll make. I imagine they'll at least keep it going until they've got some more successful original shows going as they don't have many and this one probably brings them loads of new customers.
 
True, but certainly not on that level!

Just finished season 3 and I'm left wondering if I actually watched House of Cards at all. It's completely lost what made season 1 and 2 special.

I enjoyed watching a ruthless Frank let nothing get in the way of his quest for power, even if it meant him committing murder, but this season he appeared to have lost that part of his personality. He was outwitted often and just seemed out of his depth really.
 
Wasn't as good as the first 2 series. Spacey was excellent as usual but it felt like he was getting too much wrong and kept losing the battles. Really couldn't have cared if Claire had been hit by a bus either.
 
Just finished season 3 myself and can echo some of the above. It was still good and still better than most shows out there but I definately didn't see the end goal/objective in this one and personally thought all the relationship drama would have been solved when they renewed vows but it popped up again. I do wonder if the fact the approach to president allowed the stakes to keep rising but once he's there it can't really go anywhere apart from re-election so they chose to shake the 'power couple' which unfortunately is what all those other shows tend to do and I don't really enjoy it in them either. I liked the Doug storyline but compared to the overall arcs from previous seasons very little progress seemed to be made.

Molly Parker still looks fantastic though.
 
Just this moment finished, more or less a complete waste of a season.
Underwood not seeing ANYTHING coming his way is a complete character reversal.
Claire is in fact stupid and in over her head on all issues yet she still thinks she has some influence.
The whole nook writer was utter filler.
