and realistically who in Guernsey wants a Focus RS? What would you even do with it?
You be amazed if you saw how many high performance cars there are over here....
GUERNSEY motorists were ranked second in the UK for owning the fastest cars – despite the island’s 35mph maximum speed limit.

Anyone help with this my engine has just lost most of its coolant on the way to work and the engine temp was going into the red at times. As I've just turned the car off the fans are still going aswell. What's happened? Take it I'm calling a tow truck? Lol.

Sure mine did something like that once.. some sort of a gasket on the air con I think... long time ago now but it definitely left a pool of something once.

Mmm.. that might have been oil actually.. man so much went wrong with it, my first one did not respond well to being a high mile commuter lol.
Turbo, drive shaft, some sort of gasket, air con, bent alloys allsorts..

Failed waterpump? Split hose? Did you get it sorted mate?

It lost all its coolant and was overheating so rang breakdown he done some compression tests etc and said it looked like the Thermostat or waterpump. I had to get towed home 25 miles :(. Mechanic has spent a couple hours on it and stripped a few parts and finally found a pipe had split near to the thermostat. It's a Ford only part and there is none in stock anywhere apparently they've been in order for a while so god knows how long this is gonna take to come in :(

Try ebay or a breaker.. I used that for my turbo and driveshaft, saved a packet and got the parts quickly.

As you might imagine there's no shortage of these things getting written off.

Least it wasn't something like the dreaded cracked liner, that's a pretty terminal way to lose lots of coolant.

For the hose is there an aftermarket hose you could get that does the same job? - Samco or similar maybe, or try ringing an ST specialist such as Collins?

Ahh i assumed as you said you had to wait 9 weeks it was a new car.

not sure how a used car takes 9 weeks to get to you. Dealer has the wrong car. Only real way to rectify is to get them to replace the car.

Such a ridiculous system as all cars come with the hardware just not the software/licence to run it.

In the end i am not getting the sync 2 programed with Sat Nav. They have admitted fault and i agreed to a set of premium set of rubber from ford when i need them.

In the end i got £500 back, 3 services, 2 Valets and a set of tyres.

Get it block modded which will include a new head gasket, all belts and then peace of mind that your liners are good too. It's what I would do and what I have done.
