Ah good old Ford mechanics and their vast knowledge of Ford motors.

Had the car in for a service and asked them to check an issue i am having with boost.

The odd time the pressure gauge for the turbo sits at the top and stays there, when i hit the gas the turbo seems to be delayed then suddenly i get boost. The turbo seems to boost but delayed.

It only happens every so often.

Ford said nothing showing on the computer and all pipes etc are perfect. So do they have any clue, no.

I think it looks like a boost solenoid so i will have to order one and pop it in myself.

Also Ford want the guts of 1k to repair a chip in the paint on the passenger door a upc van did.

So UPC admitted liabiltiy and will get a shock when i send them the quote. UPC told me to use Ford as they could not get anyone to touch the car due to the colour.

ha ha yep the devils colour.

The last time it needed paint work it took them 8 weeks and they had to bring in a paint specialist from Ford Germany to do it.

lol some would say that ;)

Well least you know the score with it mate, you may be suprised at how many people don't. Hope you get it sorted quickly and more importantly to your satisfaction :)

With the privacy glass in mine combined with black roof lining I can still remember the first time I glanced over my shoulder at night, honestly expected something to leap out from the backseat! :D

Just picked up Eagle F1A2s, £115 a corner from Camskill I think they were. Again, only been on coming up a month but they're good so far :D

Sucks how they charge an extra 48% for a 19" tyre compared to an 18", might find some 18" wheels that will fit on my car for the next time I have to change tyres :p
