I like fb. It makes it easier to keep in contact with mates, also quite an easy way of arranging events with mates that live further away harder to reach etc..
This is very true, there's a group of us that go away every year and the debate over which house/cottage to rent usually takes most of the year to get agreed, so a private group for that is very handy.
Can't really see any other point to it yet though.

) but why would anybody be even slightly interested to hear every detail? Maybe if I get married or have kids or move to a new house I might put up a few photos for family + friends to see (with privacy options set accordingly) but even then I might not bother
"... and the same people do that annoying thing of putting up some willy-waving photo, wait a few weeks while all the sheeple "like" it... and then tag themselves in it, popping it back to the top of the news-wall thing for everyone to see all over again... Or post a status and then comment on it themselves a week later... RAAAH just **** off already!
