If you use V-power

Cars that 'need' Vpower will be fine on the normal stuff. If you really are worried about your engine but still need to get around then just don't use full throttle.

That would depend on how its mapped. Just wait a few days, everyone will have full tanks and then there will be plenty again, not like the tankers are not delivering

One of the shells near me which was out of V-Power yesterday and the day before had v-power as I drove past this morning...not that it'll last with the queue that was there and with the regular unleaded pumps looking decidedly out of action.

Not many people use Vpower down here so all good for me :p I've never seen a Vpower pump "out of service" at either Shell near me.

Local Shell near me had almost all Unleaded and Diesel pumps out of use...really long que for the few remaining working pumps of normal unleaded.

No one was queing for V-Power so I just flew past everyone and proceeded to brim the tank with a big grin on my face :D

My car was mapped for v-power, I'd hate to think what would happen if I put regular stuff in...

The 350z manual recommends only putting enough 95 RON in to get you to another petrol station that sells super.

It's really noticeable when running cheap stuff, I just hope I don't get any knock.

That's what knock sensors are for - surely you won't even notice?

Most jdm imports are designed to run on 97+ though mine definitely says so on a sticker near the petrol cap. Earlier ones have to mine is highly recommended but i can believe that a skyline is designed for 97+ from the factory.
