I was just saying! And I didn't mean to put that face, I was supposed to click on the one next to it, damn mouse.

+1, its like; why even bother to hate on this, if your that much of a fanboy just go and play DayZ and leave us superior people in peace.
My statement was to counter all of the 'ZOMG DIS IZ A DEYZEE REPORF LAWL' nonsense. I really think you need to go on the naughty step Mr! Or have your bedtime lowered to 8 for a few weeks, cheeky!
As I said before, how do we know Rocket didn't branch off from this dev team and steal all of the concepts? It wouldn't be illegal if there was no patent, and nobody heard of WarZ or the dev team behind it until recently. Not outright accusing him, but these things do work both ways...
WarZ evidence: Rocket keeps banging on about some 'rubbish' dev team he left, and refuses to name them.
DayZ evidence: A few screenshots of a man in a cap with a backpack.
Fo'sho.
Can't say anything really until you get hands on.
i'm not too fussed about zombies, i prefer the survival, player camps, some player organised faction wars etc etc.
I think the Class 3 MMO will blow everything away anyway. MMO survival shooter using the incredible CryEngine 3? Oh yes please.
I hope it is better than DayZ. A proper zombie "mmo" (but without being terrible) would be mighty
So short answer – while we began developing our game before DayZ, we've been encouraged by fact that DayZ has become so popular. And yes, of course some of our latest design decisions were influenced by the DayZ community forums.
This. Given the gap in market (and the seeming popularity of it), it won't be long until we see a lot of titles like this.
